Motherwell goalkeeper George Long has to tip a looping header from Marius Zaliukas over the crossbar.
Motherwell finally find themselves in Rangers' end of the pitch - and win their first corner. Marius Zaliukas looks winded by the ricochet off his chest, but Rangers can breath a sigh of relief as the ball flies well over the home attack.
Romeu: "I believe in Rangers, Old Firm is a classic of Europe that must be restored."
Craig Benson: "1st goal will win it. If 'well score 1st they'll defend for grim death. If gers score 1st, 'well will collapse."
Stewart Izat: "Congratulations Inverness CT on a well deserved victory . . . history in the making."
LiamMcDonald1888: "Kenny Miller first scorer, loves stepping up in a big game."
Max Baggins-Craig: "Motherwell crushed Rangers before & will (deservedly) do so again, extra time & pens not required, argument settled."

Motherwell have made a nervous start and Louis Laing's poor back header gives Kris Boyd a sight at goal, but the striker shoots wide from 20 yards.
Stevie Hammell has to hook the ball clear in front of his own goal as Kenny Miller prepares to pounce inside the Well six-yard box.
"Motherwell aren't here because they have been successful. Stuart McCall knows that and knows that they could buckle under pressure."
Shane Ferguson crosses early and long into the Motherwell penalty box. Kris Boyd rises above the home defence, but his header is straight at the goalkeeper.
Kris Boyd wins a free-kick and has a pop from 25 yards, but his effort is blocked and Motherwell clear the early pressure.
Rangers get the game underway and immediately launch it long to Kris Boyd. An indication of Stuart McCall's tactics?
The team emerge from the tunnel to rapturous welcome from the two sets of supporters. The sun is shining. Let's hope for a sparkling finale to the season.
There is a bit of concern for the fitness of Motherwell midfielder Stephen Pearson. He picked up a hamstring problem on Thursday but was included in the starting line-up. However, he has been receiving some treatment close to kick-off.

BBC Scotland at Fir Park
"Both managers have taken risks at Fir Park. Stephen Pearson and Steven Hammell have injury concerns; Shane Ferguson and Kris Boyd come from the periphery into the Rangers' starting line-up. The visitors need to try to impose themselves if they are to overcome a two-goal deficit and Motherwell know that one goal could tip the balance of the tie wholly in their favour. It is all to play for, so much at stake, and potential match winners on both sides."
You can feel the nerves ping all around Fir Park from both sets of supporters as we reach five minutes before kick-off.
Rangers need only look back 12 months for inspiration, Hamilton Academical from the Championship having overcome a two-goal first-leg deficit to defeat Hibernian at Easter Road and relegate the Edinburgh side.
Motherwell general manager Alan Burrows has just described on BBC Radio Scotland that it as a "massive" day as Motherwell try to extend their 30-year stay in the Scottish top flight.

Jim Spence is reporting that Inverness Caley thistle's victory parade on an open-top bus around the Highland capital has been delayed.
Martin Sutherland: "Scotland national team or ICT for me for Scotland's team of the season!"
John McGrorry: "Yes, ICT & Aberdeen have exceeded expectations, and well done to them, but team of the season is the champions. Celtic."
