Last season Harry Kane was out of this world at times, with 30 goals plus. He will have to go some to match that but he looks a little tired to me. I think he needs a bit of help. There are reports that Tottenham are in for Saido Berahino, and I think he needs one or two around him to help him out.

Former Liverpool striker on Football Focus

"If you look at Leicester’s form at the  back end of last season, they won 28 points out of a possible 33. The stats tell you something about how good the team is.

"With a new manager you don’t ever know how they will react but I've not been surprised by how well they have done under Claudio Ranieri."

Hari Sri : Big game off the back of the transfer inaction. Need three points and big performances from certain players today.

Kyle, Newcastle:  I think Man United will edge it 2-1 and Rooney could play himself back into form by getting on the scoresheet. However as a Newcastle fan I'm optimistic we will cause United problems as our attack looks decent and their defence is poor. Their keeper Romero is also suspect.

This morning we're talking Sunday League transfers - a topic for conversation on the  Danny Baker Show  on BBC Radio 5 live earlier this morning.

Have you ever been traded, transferred or poached by a rival team? Or let go to make way for a new signing?

Tom, Lincoln:  After about ten years service I once deserted my team in Sunday League Div4 for my brother's team, the village rivals who were in the Prem, thinking I could make the step up. I think I made three appearances, spent some time acting as linesman, then left at the end of the season, and rejoined my old team... But I went on to become captain and a Player of the Season in later years!

  16. 'I trust you Ed'published at 11:04

Man Utd v Newcastle (12:45 BST)

Manchester United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has been getting his fair share of stick this week -  but boss Louis van Gaal says he trusts him with club transfers.

Woodward has overseen deals that have brought in Matteo Darmian, Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger this summer.

But United missed out on transfer target Pedro, with Barcelona's Spain winger, 28, opting to join Premier League rivals Chelsea.

"Every day I am updated by him and I trust him," said Van Gaal. "I have the idea you want to separate Ed Woodward with me. Never. Never."
