    Article 13.4 of the Capital One rulebook states that an extra 30 minutes shall be played in the event of the scores being level after 90 minutes.

    If the extra period doesn't separate the sides, it goes to penalties.

    With 32 matches taking place in the competition tonight, we could be here a while...

    The teams are on their way out up and down the country...

    Bolton have hit the woodwork three times already this half. 

    For some there's just no luck. Zach Clough is almost played in but can't bring the ball under his spell as Burton continue to hold out. 

    Can Burton build on that? Fortune is favouring the underdog so far...

    What's been the difference between Cardiff and Wimbledon this first 45 minutes? A cracking  Craig Noone free-kick. The Championship side had been knocking and now they lead.

    Championship side Rotherham take the lead on the stroke of half-time as Jordan Bowrey heads home against the League Two side.

    Five Championship sides are now trailing to lower league sides - yes FIVE...

    And another team from England's second tier are in a bit of trouble as Liam Noble levels for League Two Notts County at Huddersfield. 

    A stunning strike from a cross from the left as he finishes from the edge of the penalty area.

    Cardiff 0-0 Wimbledon

    Loan signing Sammy Ameobi has been impressing on his debut for the hosts tonight. Still no breakthrough there though - James Shea is equal to his latest effort.

    Swindon 0-2 Exeter

    David Wheeler doubles Exeter's  lead at Swindon from close range. The League Two side on top against their loftier opponents.

    It looks like there will be no shock at  Charlton  though as Karlon Ahearen-Grant puts the Addicks 2-0 up at home to Dagenham and Redbridge - his first senior goal.

    Another shock on the cards as Alex Nicholls latches onto Tom Nichols' lay off and calmly finishes to put League Two Exeter 1-0 up at League One Swindon Town.

    A great chance for Ipswich to level almost straight away goes begging - Brett Pitman sees his shot go agonisingly wide after beating his man.
