Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
So Southampton head out of the Europa League.
Some people have been saying it's a blessing in disguise, but Ronald Koeman sounded like the kind of guy who was looking forward to the prospect of a European adventure this season.
Not the trophy maybe, but some small glory at least.
Instead it's back to the Premier League. Norwich at home on Sunday, at 13:30 BST.
Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
Sadly could probably have predicted that scoreline. Roko says we learned from last week - well we obviously didn't learn that its no good lumping it up to Pelle when hes up against big defenders! European adventure over before the transfer window closes! We need to get back to passing!

Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
More from Southampton manager Ronald Koeman: "I think we started well and created good chances in the first 15 minutes but we made a mistake for their goal, Jay Rodriguez made a mistake when he can't afford to make a mistake.
"But I think the final result is not the result that we saw on the pitch."
Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
Southampton manager Ronald Koeman, speaking to BT Sport: " Unlucky. In both games we were the better team, we had the most chances. We scored a goal at home that was disallowed and tonight we need a penalty for a handball from the free-kick.
"Maybe it was the best performance until now, from our team. We worked very hard but sometimes you need good decisions. We didn't have that. In my opinion that makes the result.
"Sadio Mane wasn't 100% and it will be a long season. I didn't take that risk to put him in. We need him for more games."
Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
Southampton need to look at the bigger picture, losing 3-0 to Everton just shows they can't handle the extra fixtures, this is good for the future.

By the way you can check out all of the other Europa League play-off second legs scores over here.
The stand-out result of the night? Borussia Dortmund beating Odd of Norway 7-2 to win 11-5 on aggregate.
The Germans were 3-0 down in the first leg after about 20 minutes - think you'll agree, that's quite the comeback.
Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
Daniel Dewey: Ah well, no need to worry about that Thursday/Sunday fixture issue now. I've had longer holidays in Europe than that campaign!
Lou macari chip shop: Surely the #europaleague, external is the only realistic route to reaching the #ucl, external for #westham, external or #saints, external so expected better from both

Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
For my money, that was a seriously odd performance.
Sadio Mane and Dusan Tadic on the bench and they launch it up to Graziano Pelle all evening long?
Southampton's European adventure is over for another year. Surely not for another 13 years?
Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
And that is that. Ronald Koeman gathers his crutches and trudges off down the line.
His team are out.
Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
But Midtjylland give it away, Southampton can launch yet another one up for Graziano Pelle.
Again hand ball though. Seconds left.
Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
Rilwan Hassan breaks forward and shoots on goal - when the corner flag is surely the thing to do?
Graziano Pelle handles bringing one down, brilliantly, but it's a foul.
This should be it now.
Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
Oriol Romeu lines up Matt Targett for a shot - scuffed and deflected.
A brilliant cross from Dusan Tadic almost reaches Graziano Pelle but Midtjylland clear again!
Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
Maya Yoshida then Matt Targett launch the ball forward - neither can breach the Midtjylland back line.
Three minutes to go...
Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
I'm wrong! Four minutes to play in stoppage time.
Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
How long will the ref add on?
Not long I reckon. Scrappy, very scrappy now, from Southampton. They can't get it forward.
Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
James Ward-Prowse launches a free-kick from the halfway line with all but one Southampton player lining the box.
But it's weak and Midtjylland end up clearing - even threatening to break through for a second.
Shane Long then flashes on on target - so easy to stop but it's the first save in a long time from Johan Dahlin.
Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
Martin Pusic launches himself to the ground, with Matt Targett's hand in vaguely close proximity.
Obviously never a pen but Pusic was never going to reach the cross either - he opted to gamble on the tumble.
Southampton have to gamble now.
Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
This is fizzing out now, you can feel the tie slipping towards the kind of five minutes that teams who are very good at home are very good at seeing out.
You get the feeling Midtjylland have been here before.
Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton
It should be goodnight Southampton.
Brilliant hold-up play from Martin Pasic, a one-two with Daniel Royer and the ball ends up flying just over the top right corner. Inches.
The Southampton response? Juanmi is on for Saints, with Steven Davis off.
