  1. CLOSE!published at 20:17

    Arsenal 0-0 Bayern Munich

Much scrunching of the eyes and looking to the heavens as Alexis Sanchez hammers over the bar from 15 yards out. That was a decent chance - a corner worked its way through to him and he leant back and hit Row Z.

Bayern continue to probe at the Arsenal defence, Xabi Alonso feeding Arturo Vidal on the edge of the area and he fires a shot right at Petr Cech.

Arsenal have to make do with scraps on the break and Theo Walcott fires wide under pressure.

  4. Hazard alertpublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 20 October 2015

    Dynamo Kiev 0-0 Chelsea

Busy return for Eden Hazard. He's hit the post and, as his touch map shows, he's been probing the Kiev defence. Chelsea are creating the better chances. Jose Mourinho will be disappointed his side is not ahead.

  5. CLOSE!published at 20:13

    Dynamo Kiev 0-0 Chelsea

Kiev's best moment! They work the ball nicely down the left, it's squared to Vitaliy Buyalskiy, he shoots from 22 yards out and it is deflected wide off the toe of John Terry.

Leverkusen take an early two-goal lead in Germany and Roma - on just one point in the group - are now in need of serious inspiration.

Elsewhere, Valencia lead 1-0 at home against Gent - Sofiane Feghouli  with the strike - and Zenit are one up against Lyon. A win would put Andre Villas-Boas' side on the brink of the next stage.

In Belarus, Barcelona are peppering BATE Borisov's goal. They've had 76% of the ball and seven shots at goal, forcing a number of saves.

  8. Plan B?published at 20:09

    Arsenal 0-0 Bayern Munich

David Alaba had a shot blocked earlier in the half. In truth, it wasn't close to opening the scoring but if you wondered about the complexity and patience of the build-up...

"Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola is a hive of activity in his technical area. He gives every impression of being a man who is never satisfied. Almost - but not quite."

Who is the away team again? This average position map shows just how pegged back Arsenal players have been in the opening stages.

All but two of their players have spent the majority of the first 20 minutes inside their own half, while in contrast all but three of Bayern's outfield players have mostly been in the Gunners' half.

  11. CLOSE!published at 20:07

    Dynamo Kiev 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea could be two or three up now. First Willian bends a free-kick into the middle which is inches wide, before Nemanja Matic drives on from the halfway line, he beats two men, it opens up for him and he toes a shot just wide. Not the man you want on the shot maybe but the run was brilliant...

  12. Postpublished at 20:05

    Arsenal 0-0 Bayern Munich

Wave upon wave of attacks from the men in black and pink now. Douglas Costa gets by Hector Bellerin easily and his cross/shot is clawed out by Petr Cech.

Arsenal rather hanging on but then they counter from the corner and Alexis Sanchez almost frees Theo Walcott through the middle - only David Alaba's boot cuts it out.

Is that a penalty?! Cesc Fabregas weaves his way into the area from wide on the left, he drives into a Kiev sandwich and goes down but referee Damir Skomina tells him to get up. The defender didn't get the ball...

  14. Postpublished at 20:03

    Arsenal 0-0 Bayern Munich

Xabi Alonso has made 20 passes for Bayern so far - Arsenal's busiest man is Hector Bellerin on eight.

  15. Postpublished at 20:00

    Arsenal 0-0 Bayern Munich

Lovely delivery from Xabi Alonso, swinging in a free-kick right into the corridor, it swings just wide of the post as Petr Cech scrambles across.

The Bayern fans, now they are in, are making a right old din. There is a man with a megaphone facing his own fans and orchestrating the noise. How do they get those in the ground?

Eden Hazard has been more like his old self in these opening stages but now he's taken a sore one, Andriy Yarmolenko stood on his toe and in the cold that will sting all night long. He'll try and run that off.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:56

    Arsenal 0-0 Bayern Munich

Bayern now having a good spell - and that's a great chance! Thomas Muller plays the one-two with Thiago, Thiago middles the shot from 12 yards but it's straight at Petr Cech and he beats it clear. High-quality match so far.

"Bayern Munich getting lots of the ball but Arsenal are fairly comfortable. Nothing really threatening Petr Cech's goal and Arsenal look dangerous on the break."

  19. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 19:55

    Dynamo Kiev 0-0 Chelsea

Willian, who played in Ukraine for Donetsk, has a low shot on target for Chelsea as Jose Mourinho's men continue to look dangerous.

And then Eden Hazard rattles the post! Switched it on to his right foot, and bent a low shot against the frame of the goal. Lovely feet!
