Yup, as it stands Turkey are one goal away from qualifying automatically as the highest placed team finishing in third.

It is currently Turkey 0-0 Iceland.

    Wales 1-0 Andorra

Credit to Andorra, they are not showing any signs of rolling over yet. But equally they are showing no signs of claiming their first competitive away win in 46 attempts. Max Llovera perfectly times a sliding challenge in his penalty area to dispossess Jonny Williams.

  3. Second spot for Wales?published at 21:13 British Summer Time 13 October 2015

Elsewhere in Group B, Belgium have taken the lead against Israel - Napoli's Dries Mertens on the scoresheet.

This means that as it stands Belgium will top the group with Wales second.

    Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (70 mins)

Hang on a minute, is this on? Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has got one back - a power-header from the penalty spot!

They need another three goals, and for Iceland to beat Turkey, to secure third place in Group A and a play-off spot....

    Surely not, right?

    Wales 1-0 Andorra

Andorra keeper Ferran Pol should be paid treble the amount of his team-mates - he does three times as much work! Pol is called into action again, pushing away Sam Vokes's effort. Wales looking much more relaxed now.

    Wales 1-0 Andorra

Not much happening on the field as Wales continue to dominate. The home crowd applaud themselves after a rousing rendition of the Welsh national anthem. Spine-tingling stuff. And, almost as if he is spurred on by that, Aaron Ramsey ploughs forward and drills a low shot just across the face of the Andorra goal.

Robin van Persie (OG) (66 mins)

Oh my word. That. Is. Unbelievable.

Brought on to salvage something, anything, from a desperate situation with his team two goals down, Robin van Persie has just planted the sweetest of cushioned headers past his own goalkeeper.

The Dutch are well on their way towards elimination - they need to score four, and for Iceland to beat Turkey, to finish third and grab a play-off spot.

    It's not looking likely...

There is a lot of heat around the Dutch right now - their Euros disappointment one of the talking points of this qualifying campaign....

    Netherlands 0-2 Czech Republic

With the score still 0-0 between Turkey and Iceland, even a three-goal comeback wouldn't be enough for the Netherlands to secure a play-off place and third in Group A as it stands.

The Dutch need to beat the Czech Republic and for Iceland to beat Turkey.

Neither of those scenarios are looking like coming good, and as Danny Blind's side pour forward looking for a breakthrough, they're looking increasingly vulnerable on the break...

    Wales 1-0 Andorra

A replay of that Wales celebration has just popped up on my screen...they weren't doing the Toure dance. they were doing the Ledley dance! As we told you earlier (see 18:57) Joe Ledley has become a Vine sensation after he celebrated in Bosnia like he was dancing in the middle of an illegal rave. Bantz.

I feel a bit sorry for the Andorran keeper - he'd actually had a decent game before that error. Could have already been three or four if it wasn't for him. Now you would expect it to be three or four before the end of 90 minutes. Gareth Bale clips the top of the bar with a rising shot. He was offside anyway.

    Robbie Savage
BBC Radio 5 live at the Cardiff City Stadium

"Aaron Ramsey needed to produce - some of his performances in a Wales shirt haven't been great recently - and he has done well there.

"Ashley Williams should have scored with the header, but I can see us going on to get three or four now."

    Aaron Ramsey

Breakthrough! Aaron Ramsey steers in from close range after Andorra keeper Ferran Pol weakly palms out Ashley Williams' header. The Cardiff crowd go ballistic, Chris Coleman waves both arms aloft on the touchline and the Wales players huddle round on the touchline to do a Toure chant-style dance.

    Wales 0-0 Andorra

Andorra man Ivan Lorenzo goes into the notepad of ref Kevin Blom for a foul on the left edge of his own penalty area. More worringly for Lorenzo, it gives Wales a decent chance with the set-piece. Aaron Ramsey slams into the wall...

Gareth Bale surges down the right flank, a collective cheer of excitement as the Cardiff crowd jump to their feet. But the Wales talisman overruns the ball just as he looks to cross from the byeline.

Right, in the words of Pink, let's get this party started. Wales kick off and immediately set up camp in the Andorra half.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:53

    Wales 0-0 Andorra

Wales emerge from the dressing room with a new face among their ranks. Dave Edwards, who himself replaced Robson Hal-Kanu earlier, goes off at the break with an injury problem and is replaced by Tom Lawrence.

Italy have not lost a competitive home game this century but is that record about to end? The Azzurri trail 1-0 to Norway in Group H thanks to a goal by Norwich City's Alexander Tettey. Defeat for Italy will cost them top spot in the group.

There's an almighty battle developing for a play-off spot in Wales's group. Bosnia-Herzegovina started the day third on 14 points, with Israel fourth on 13 and Cyprus fifth on 12. Bosnia took the lead in Cyprus before falling 2-1 behind. The half-time score is 2-2. Meanwhile, Israel are holding Belgium to a goalless draw in Brussels.

Elsewhere, Bulgaria lead Azerbaijan in a dead-rubber in Group H and Croatia are winning 1-0 away to Malta in Group H.

    Netherlands 0-2 Czech Republic

We are back under way in Amsterdam, where Netherlands fans are witnessing what must surely be one the of the lowest points in their side's recent history.

The Dutch need to beat the Czech Republic to have any hope of finishing third in Group A, but things are falling pretty flat at the moment.

Should they find the three goals required, they still need Iceland to beat Turkey to luck their way into a play-off place.

It's currently 0-0 in that one...
