Ryan Giggs. Ian Rush. Er, Joey Jones. All Welshmen who have been crowned European champions with their clubs. All Welshmen who never appeared at a major international tournament.

Gareth Bale's name was also on that list before Sunday. And the Real Madrid star reckons reaching Euro 2016 is on the same level as winning the Champions League with the Spanish giants.

"This is right up there to be honest," says Bale, who scored when Real beat Madrid rivals Atletico in the 2014 Champions League final.

"Everyone knows how important Wales is to me and how proud we are to all play for our country. It ranks on a par with everything else, if not top."

Some good news about Andorra midfielder Victor Moreira, who was taken off on a stretcher after an eight-minute delay in the opening few minutes. Sky Sports are reporting that he did not need to be taken to hospital and is talking to medical staff at the Cardiff City Stadium.

    Dutch despair

Joel Ikechi Ejike: So the Orange boys won't be going to France, a team that finished third in the last world cup. How the might has fallen

Francis Edwards: Missing Robben is telling for Netherlands, did for Bayern last year, although when he's back for them they'll be unstoppable.

    John Hartson

"A frustrating half for Wales. It's irrelevant really because they have already qualified but I expected a bit more precision in their passing. Andorra will be delighted, they have been difficult to break down.

"There was a danger of tonight falling flat. It's ultimately the players' performance that lifts the crowd and we need more."

    Wales 0-0 Andorra

Gareth Bale scratches his head as he walks back down the Cardiff City Stadium tunnel. And that's no surprise. Wales have hogged 83% of the possession. They have peppered the Andorra goal with 15 shots. They have forced nine corners.

Every attacking stat you can think of, Wales are leading it. Except for the one that really matters...

Gareth Bale, as you would imagine, is at the heart of Wales' better play, but he cannot find a way past these plucky Andorrans. Bale fires over, then gets in the way of Aaron Ramsey when both men battle for the same ball.

This is all one-way traffic. Andorra defender Ildefons Lima clears with a high boot, before Gareth Bale slams another corner - Wales' fourth in quick succession - into the side-netting.

Oooh! Wales go close again. Ben Davies is lurking on the edge of the Andorran box after the visitors clear a corner. But the left-back goes for placement rather than power - and finds the stand behind the goal.

  10. INJURY TIMEpublished at 45 mins

    Wales 0-0 Andorra

The fourth official strolls up to the touchline with his electronic board to reveal there will be eight minutes of injury-time. That's because of the injury suffered by Andorra midfielder Victor Moreira in the opening moments.

  11. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 44 mins

    Wales 0-0 Andorra

How have Wales not scored yet? Part profligacy, part decent goalkeeping. Ben Davies swings in a left-wing cross, Aaron Ramsey flicks goalwards with his head, and Andorra keeper Ferran Pol scrambles back to push the ball out of his top corner and onto the bar.

Another minute, another Wales chance. The height of Sam Vokes is proving a handful for the Andorran defence, the Burnley striker barely having to jump to stick his forehead on Aaron Ramsey. But he cannot keep the ball down.

Well it is a good job that Wales don't need a win isn't it? Perhaps they are still shaking off the hangover from their trip to Bosnia...

David Vaughan wildly slashes over the bar from distance after Andorra partially clear a Wales corner.

Robin van Persie is on and raring to go as the Dutch look to begin a three-goal comeback in Amsterdam.

Their fate is out of their hands though remember - if Turkey can draw at home to Iceland (it's currently 0-0), they are out, whether Van Persie can deliver or not.

Chances are arriving quicker than trains at Cardiff Central station. Sam Vokes is the latest to test the Andorran keeper, his glancing header from a central position is straight at Ferran Pol.

Moments after that failed penalty appeal, Wales are awarded a foul - right on the edge of the Andorran box. This is Gareth Bale territory. But the Real Madrid man cannot get enough whip or power on the effort and keeper Ferran Pol gratefully gathers.

  18. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 34 mins

    Wales 0-0 Andorra

Sub David Edwards trips over an Andorran leg - and a collective cry of 'Penalty' goes around the Cardiff City Stadium. Referee Kevin Blom shakes his head. He's not having that as a foul.

    Josef Sural (35 mins)

    Sensational scenes in Amsterdam!

For all the wrong reasons if you're one of the many thousands clad in Orange - it looks as though the Netherlands are heading out as Josef Sural stabs in from close range. He waltzed through the defence!

They need to find three goals, and hope Iceland can beat Turkey, if they are to scramble into third and a play-off place.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 32 mins

    Wales 0-0 Andorra

Now it is 1-1 - on yellow cards. Wales midfielder David Vaughan sees his name scribbled into the referee's notepad for a sliding challenge in the Andorran half. Quite harsh in my opinion. Appeared to cleanly take the ball before the man.
