Newcastle have had a poor start to the season - can they get a morale-booster tonight?

  3. New hero in town?published at 18:46

    Tottenham v Arsenal (19:45 BST)

With Harry Kane hitting a brick wall this season - no goals in seven appearances for Spurs so far this season - it has been left to new signing Son Heung-min to get the fans excited in recent weeks.

The South Korean scored twice in last week's Europa League opener and then followed it up with the winner against Palace at the weekend.

Will he have to come off the bench to rescue Spurs this evening?

Arsenal hold the edge in north London derbies, winning 74 in all competitions to Spurs' haul of 55.

But you're only as good as your last result. And with Spurs winning the most recent duel in February it's the home fans who may fancy their chances tonight.

Harry Kane scored twice that night. How Spurs fans would love a repeat...

Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Anchorman, Rocky - The sequel is never as good as the original, right?

Let's hope so. The League Cup has thrown up another big derby day for the third round as Spurs host Arsenal this evening.

Last night Aston Villa underwent a half-time transformation to eventually beat Birmingham at Villa Park, in a game that started slowly but steadily improved.

Tonight we want a full-blown cracker from the off please gentleman. Over to you...
