Divock Origi is on for Roberto Firmino as Brendan Rodgers reacts to that shock Carlisle goal. Can the Belgian add the firepower that is lacking?

SJ McNab: Harry Kane looks like a striker beset by self doubt this season.

Layzibo: Again, Ivanovic is having a nightmare game. He's lucky Azpilicueta isn't on the bench.

Karan Sonatun: Proud to see a Mauritian (Kevin Bru) playing in the Theatre of Dreams... dreams do come true.

    Derek Asamoah (34 mins)

Derek Asamoah! It's a flimsy reference but we'll go with it - the man who started his career at Northampton (who beat Liverpool at Anfield five years ago yesterday) equalises for League Two side Carlisle! Asamoah is clear inside the area and squeezes a shot under the body of Adam Bogdan. Kop End. Career highlight?

Harry Kane is on his heels a bit. Is he lacking confidence? I don't know but he takes too many touches. Once he takes a touch on his chest he should be trying to get his shot away but he takes another touch. I expected more from Tottenham. Arsenal have been the better side and deserve to be in front.

Half-time whistles being blown in our six 19:45 kick-offs. Any sniff of a shock anywhere?

  10. Postpublished at 20:33

    Tottenham 0-1 Arsenal

Spurs hit Arsenal on the break on the stroke of half-time.

Christian Eriksen plays the ball to Harry Kane on the left. The striker closes in on goal but then drags his shot across goal and wide. Short of confidence?

Abhinav: Always knew Danny Ings could score if played as a striker. No doubt.

Andrew Worby: Flamini and Arteta and Debuchy booked already. What are the odds on another red card?

They have absolutely deserved that. They've probed and created lots of opportunities. They finally worked Begovic and it was a great finish by O'Connor. That will give them belief that they can get back into this tie."

    James O'Connor (45 mins)

One for the 'they all count' file! Milan Lalkovic hits a powerful free-kick which Asmir Begovic can only parry out, James O'Connor gets there and totally mishits the ball, but it bobbles back across goal and into the net. Bescot bonanza.

    Tottenham 0-1 Arsenal

It's all Spurs. Harry Kane brings the ball down really well, but whereas last season he may have swivelled and crashed it home he looks for a team-mate and the shot is blocked away. Confidence is all at times. And he ain't got none.

It's a really cruel time to concede. Walsall haven't deserved that but Chelsea have always looked dangerous through the movement of Falcao."

That is beautifully finished. Ramires, enjoying himself tonight, runs at the back four and slides in a pass to Loic Remy, he opens up his body and side-foots home high into the net.
