  5. West Ham v Norwich (15:00 BST)published at 11:51

So after the party in Manchester, can West Ham boss Slaven Bilic sort out his home side's form? Wins over Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal on the road have been overshadowed by home defeats to Leicester and Bournemouth. Norwich are seeking to extend their away points haul after a welcome draw at Anfield last weekend. Tough one to predict, this, but Mark Lawrenson has gone for a 1-1 draw. Safe.

John Baker: Poked my son in the eye trying to high five after James Wilson scored for Oldham. Knocked his contact lens out!

Will in Bournemouth: My father gave himself a hernia leaping off the settee after David Platt scored in Italia '90. I was 5 at the time, burst into tears and am now emotionally scarred. Can't look at Platt without bringing back the memories.

    Best look away now Will.....

  9. Stoke v Bournemouth (15:00 BST)published at 11:41

After reaching a record points total in the Premier League last season, it's been a tough start for Stoke this term and they won't be getting any favours from promoted team Bournemouth, who've started life in the top flight at a canter.

Did you see Matt Ritchie's goal last Saturday when Bournemouth earned their second win of the season against Sunderland? A peach. Keeping Callum Wilson under wraps will be tricky for the Potters too. He's got five goals in six Premier League games this season.

David Baines in Kendal: I got attacked by my friends dog when I celebrated Collymore's goal in the 4-3 Liverpool win over Newcastle.

Michelle in Middlesbrough: Boro's last day win in 1992 at Wolves that sent us up to the first ever Premier League. Last gasp winner by Paul Wilkinson. Stood on chair in excitement fell through chair both legs. Couldn't get out for 20 mins by which time whistle had blew and all other boro fans down front of stand cheering players in lap of honour. Bruised shins for weeks!

Feel for you Michelle - lots of chair based injuries at football grounds, those flip seats are a real hazard!

  11. Southampton v Swansea (15:00 BST)published at 11:35

Elsewhere this afternoon, is this a match between the best-operated clubs in the Premier League? Two teams with a clear philosophy, even if Southampton seem to have finally paid for letting too many players leave over the last few seasons. Still, it's early days, neither side has established consistent form as yet, and Mr Pelle does like it at home.

Man Utd v Sunderland (15:00 BST)

Amidst the doom and gloom at Sunderland, some positive news to cling to. Black Cats striker Duncan Watmore has just earned a first-class honours degree in economics and business management at Newcastle University. Hooray.

So who better than our very own brain box, BBC Sport's David Ornstein, to ask Watmore a few economics questions while doing keepy-ups?

  15. 'Weak defending has helped Martial'published at 11:21

Manchester United v Sunderland (15:00 BST)

    Anthony MartialImage source, Reuters

We've all seen the superb form of Anthony Martial, scoring four goals in as many game since he signed from Monaco. But football journalist Julien Laurens was on BBC Radio 5 live last night suggesting there is a theory in France why the teenager has got off to a flyer.

"Because your defences in the Premier League are nowhere near as good as in Ligue 1. The defending he faced wasn’t world class and that’s helped him settle so well and it’s great for his confidence.

"The one game he didn't score in was the game against a foreign side - PSV.

"I'm surprised people in England hadn't heard of him. He was the next big thing in French football since he was 12."

  16. Man Utd v Sunderland (15:00 BST)published at 11:18

On to Old Trafford. The misery in the north east has not been limited to Newcastle this season. Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat might have drawn sympathy from his old mate Louis van Gaal, but he will be desperate for a result today. The Black Cats are bottom of the Premier League and are yet to manage a Premier League win so far this season.

Nick Hebross: I did Tim Cahill's punching the corner flag celebration watching a socceroos WCC. Accidentally punched myself in the head.

Colm Maguire: Ireland v Italy USA '94, so excited at Ray Houghton's goal I had a nose bleed in front of a bunch of strangers. Embarassing.

  18. 'Pearson got it going'published at 11:13

    Leicester v Arsenal (15:00 BST)

    BBC Radio 5 Live

    Claudio RanieriImage source, Empics

They were discussing Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri last night and their frequent comebacks this season on BBC Radio 5 live.

Chris Sutton: "It shows the spirit they have. They have a real goal threat. But it’s eventually going to bite them and cost them. I feel sorry for former boss Nigel Pearson, he got it all going."

Trevor Sinclair: "He’s more gentle than Pearson, that’s obvious. He’s charismatic, he knows what hes doing – he's galvanised the players. He'll hope they don’t keep giving themselves a mountain to climb. He's done a great job."

  19. Magic Mahrezpublished at 11:11

    Leicester v Arsenal (15:00 BST)

    Leicester v ArsenalImage source, .

Moving on, the Gunners seemed to get over last Saturday's defeat by Chelsea, by re-asserting their authority in the north London derby in the Capital One Cup. But a trip to Leicester could spell danger. Who else has been captivated by the form of Riyad Mahrez this season? To paraphrase the Kasabian song, for which boss Claudio Ranieri is such a fan, he's on fire!

  20. Rodgers 'has swayed from his model'published at 11:07 British Summer Time 26 September 2015

Liverpool v Aston Villa (15:00 BST)

    Brendan RodgersImage source, Getty Images

"Foreign managers seem so appealing – the mysterious manager that has done well on the continent. But sometimes we should be more insular and see what we have in this country.

"We’re always looking further ashore. Jurgen Klopp did fail at Borussia Dortmund.

"Liverpool succeeded that season barring the slip against Chelsea. It's fine margins – Brendann Rodgers was a very successful manager and he’s proven himself at Liverpool.

"He’s swayed away from his own model. He’s buying players who don’t fit into his fold. He’s bringing players in, like Rickie Lambert and Christian Benteke, because they’re available and not because they fit his formation.

"I don’t understand why get rid of him now? There’s nothing you can do now. You can’t bring anyone in. If a giant football club want to change manager, they need to do it at the right time."
