  1. CLOSE!published at 15:14

    Chelsea 0-0 Aston Villa

It's a lively start at Stamford Bridge, where both sides have had chances. Reuben Loftus-Cheek went close with a shot from 12 yards out and Alan Hutton had a shot saved by Asmir Begovic before smashing the follow-up across the face of goal.

RLC, by the way, is getting on the ball and impressing in the hole behind Diego Costa.

  2. Postpublished at 15:12

    Everton 0-0 Man Utd

Romelu Lukaku is causing the Manchester United defence a few early problems with his strength and pace. He holds off several players to squeeze a pass to Ross Barkley, who turns and breaks towards goal, but his shot, or pass, is weak  - very weak - and cleared.

  3. goal

GOAL - Man City 2-0 Bournemouthpublished at 15:10

    Wilfried Bony (11 mins)

Make that two for Manchester City. It is all down to a clanger from Adam Federici, who is only in goal for Bournemouth because Artur Boruc was injured in the warm-up. The cross came in from Bacary Sagna and it was palmed out by Federici straight to Wilfried Bony who tapped home.

    WBA 0-0 Sunderland

There's that familiar sight of Sam Allardyce, sat in his dugout and vigorously chewing a piece of gum.

He was nearly given the perfect start to his life as Sunderland manager when Fabio Borini got into the box from the left inside the first minute, but his cross was headed away.

    Jimmy Armfield

"Howard Kendall really was a Goodison Park hero. People talk about football legends, but Howard was. A tremendous figure, a terrific player and I was never surprised he was a successful manager."

  6. 'A very, very sad day'published at 15:09 British Summer Time 17 October 2015

    Everton 0-0 Man Utd

  7. goal

GOAL - Man City 1-0 Bournemouthpublished at 15:07

    Raheem Sterling (7 mins)

Bournemouth can't believe it - Manchester City score with their first attack of the match. Overlapping full-back Pablo Zabaleta gets in front of his marker and heads into the six-yard area. The ball is helped on by Wilfried Bony and Raheem Sterling taps home from four yards out. There's a hint of offside, but City won't mind. They're in front.

  8. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:06

    Man City 0-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth are looking good and it takes a good tackle from Nicolas Otamendi to stop Dan Gosling in his tracks. However, on closer inspection, the defender got very little of the ball. Penalty shout? City survive.

  9. Postpublished at 15:05

    Everton 0-0 Man Utd

Wayne Rooney has not scored an away Premier League goal since November last year. He hasn't scored at Goodison Park since April 2007. It is probably fair to say he will be desperate for a goal against his former club today.

He's not had a chance yet in the early stages, with Juan Mata forging the only chance of note with a free-kick that was headed away.

  10. Postpublished at 15:05

    Southampton 0-0 Leicester

Jamie Vardy pokes the ball over following a great delivery from Marc Albrighton. Some good early play from Leicester.

  11. Postpublished at 15:03

    Man City 0-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth are playing keep-ball early on at the Etihad. They aren't fazed by their moneybags opponents, that's for sure.

  12. Postpublished at 15:03

    Crystal Palace 0-0 West Ham

West Ham get straight on the attack at Crystal Palace as Manuel Lanzini gets away down the left. He crosses low into the middle of the area and finds the unmarked Dimitri Payet, but his touch is all wrong and the ball squirms wide.

  13. 'Goodison rocks once again'published at 15:02 British Summer Time 17 October 2015

    Everton 0-0 Man Utd

    Ian Brown
BBC football commentator at Goodison Park on 5 live sports extra

"A ground that rocked in the 1980s under Howard Kendall rocks once again as players and both sets of fans pay great appreciation."

  14. Postpublished at 15:02

    Southampton 0-0 Leicester

Some good early pressing from Leicester against Southampton in a fixture which ended 2-0 to the home team both times last season. And in both matches, a player scored a brace (Shane Long & Riyad Mahrez).

    You know what to expect...

  15. 'Mourinho's toddler tantrums'published at 15:00 British Summer Time 17 October 2015

    Chelsea 0-0 Aston Villa

    Garth Crooks
Former Spurs striker on Final Score

"I am a real fan of Jose Mourinho but when things don’t go his way he is almost like a child stamping his feet. It exasperates me.

"Does any of Chelsea's bad start to the season actually have anything to do with you, Jose? Is it possible that you started pre-season so late and finished last season so early that actually, you weren't properly prepared for this campaign at all?

"Because if you get your pre-season wrong then your whole season is in trouble. And Chelsea’s season is in trouble."

  17. Postpublished at 14:58

Manchester City are having a minute's applause for former manager Howard Kendall ahead of their game at Bournemouth.

  18. A big win for Big Sam?published at 14:58

    WBA v Sunderland (15:00 BST)

It is a sell-out in the away end at West Brom as Sunderland fans welcome in the Sam Allardyce era. Will it begin with a win? Big Sam has won his first Premier League match in charge of his last four clubs. A good omen...

  19. Long way from Homepublished at 14:55

    League Two preview

Accrington Stanley have made the 313-mile trip to Plymouth to face the leaders at Home Park.

After five wins in their last six games, the Lancastrians will hope it's not a wasted trip.

Former Plymouth manager John Sheridan is now trying to lift Newport off the bottom of the League but they face a tough test at home to second-placed Portsmouth as they look for only a second win of the season.

Fourth-placed Mansfield are looking for a fourth successive home win at home to Bristol Rovers, who have been beaten away from home only once since last November.

Back at the bottom end, free-falling Hartlepool are hoping to avoid a fourth successive defeat at Dagenham and Redbridge, who haven't won in the league in six games.

In the early kick-off, Morecambe lead 2-1 at AFC Wimbledon thanks to two goals from Shaun Miller.

  20. Bournemouth suffer injurypublished at 14:54

Man City v Bournemouth (15:00 BST)

Bad news for Bournemouth fans... goalkeeper Artur Boruc has injured himself in the warm-up and is replaced by league debutant Adam Federici. As a result, the Cherries do not have a goalkeeper on the bench.
