Right, that's Jurgen Klopp's first game as Liverpool manager done and dusted. Both teams worked hard and, ultimately, cancelled each other out. A draw was probably a fair result.

This is a chance, then, but the Reds waste it. Alberto Moreno drills his shot straight at the wall.

There will be three minutes of added time at White Hart Lane. Is there a goal in this game? Maybe - Liverpool have a free-kick right on the edge of the box after Dele Alli fouls James Milner.

Just as I was about to say this game is petering out, Emre Can lets fly with a snap-shot from the edge of the area. It fizzes a fraction wide. to the frustration of Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.

Jordon Ibe is coming on as substitute for Philippe Coutinho - and he will do so with his ears ringing after getting a right old rollocking from Jurgen Klopp for being too slow getting ready to come on. He's not all smiles that's for sure.

A change for both teams. Jordon Ibe is on for Philippe Coutinho for Liverpool, while Spurs replace Erik Lamela with Andros Townsend.

"That was the chance! What a save by Simon Mignolet though. It was a brilliant run from Christian Eriksen, and Harry Kane might have done better looking to bend one in the far corner."

There have not been many clear chances in this second half but Spurs have just created one, with Christian Eriksen teeing up Harry Kane on the edge of the area. Again Reds keeper Simon Mignolet is there, springing to his left to push the ball away.

Danny Rose comes out worse from another clash with James Milner but play goes on and Liverpool break forward. The ball comes to Divock Origi on the left of the area but his low shot is smothered by Hugo Lloris, as a chorus of boos are aimed at referee Craig Pawson.

Kritt Normsaskul: A shame Son isn't playing because of injury. He could have made a difference in a tight game like this.

Paul Collins: Liverpool need stop trying walk it in when they're near the Spurs area.

Mark Taylor: Harry Kane will certainly play against better centre-backs than Martin Skrtel, but definitely not one as cynical.

"It's been an intense game and some players are starting to tire. If I were Jurgen Klopp, I'd be thinking about bringing Jordon Ibe on to inject a little bit of pace from here."  

Spurs have been under a bit of pressure but Harry Kane has just helped them win their first corner of the second half. 

It is cleared easily as far as Kyle Walker, whose shot from distance clears the bar by, erm, quite a distance. If that was me, I'd be blaming that knock he just picked up...

A break in play as Spurs right-back Kyle Walker gets treatment. I think he tweaked something when he over-stretched for a ball, but he is going to try to continue.
