"Marc Wilson needs to clear the ball, he's in control of the situation but wants to take an extra touch. From Mark Hughes' perspective, I've played under him and I know they'll be some tough words in the dressing room at full-time. They've conceded two goals that they didn't need to."

George Thorne comes up trumps for Derby to give them a 2-1 lead at Huddersfield. It's the only goal so far in the second half in Championship. As it stands, the Rams will go into the play-off spots.

In League One, Colchester needed six second-half minutes to come from two down to second-placed Walsall. That made it 2-2, it's now 3-3 and a thriller by the sound of things.

Blackpool lead Crewe 1-0, the sides in third and fourth - Burton and Coventry - are both goalless in their games.

    West Ham 1-1 Chelsea

Dimitri Payet, West Ham's outrageously talented midfielder, flicks the ball over Willian's head, controls it on his thigh and fires a cross into the box but it's past everyone. It might have been a shot.

    The signing of the summer?

"Gylfi Sigurdsson was lucky to win the free-kick, it was a dodgy one. But he is a wizard when it comes to dead balls."

    Abdi

Super toe-poke! Almen Abdi drives home Watford's second from 20 yards, really powerful hit on the run, beats Jack Butland at his near post. It came after Odion Ighalo manhandled Marc Wilson off the ball out wide. Ighalo has been unplayable...

Max Baggigns-Craig: 'Mr Reliable' himself Jamie Vardy, what a great player to watch, an inspiration without any doubt. Foxes top 10 finish surely.

Nik: Are some Chelsea fans *seriously* calling for Mourinho to go ??! Who on earth is better and available? Ridiculous.

Mike Pilkington: Goal line technology has been weak and naive not allowing that Chelsea goal.

Charlie Adam tries a shot straight from the corner - why not? - and he forces Heurelho Gomes into a scrabbling save. Stoke dialling up the pressure now.

    Gylfi Sigurdsson (68 mins)

This game has suddenly kicked into life. Swansea are level within minutes thanks to a brilliant Gylfi Sigurdsson free-kick.

The Iceland midfielder, who was dropped for Monday's game with Stoke, finds the top corner from 25 yards out.

Villa boss Tim Sherwood looks aghast.

Eden Hazard wins a free-kick, which Willian pings in - Diego Costa heads over but the assistant referee's flag was up for offside. Chelsea starting to play a bit better now - their confidence is up since their equaliser.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:21

    Norwich 0-1 West Brom

Chris Brunt fancies his chances today, he shoots from range for the fourth time and really gets hold of this one, fine save though from John Ruddy. Norwich off form it seems.

    Leicester 1-0 Crystal Palace

    Leicester

This is a midfield scrap and there are two players on show adept at doing the business in the engine room.

N'Golo Kante and James McCarthur are the deepest players in each midfield. Kante has excelled, making three tackles and a game-high four interceptions.

McCarthur has made four tackles - more than any other player. Perhaps unsurprising it was a defensive error which led to the opener in this one.

Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer, Ian Wright, Mark Stein, Emmanuel Adebayor, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Daniel Sturridge.

Jamie Vardy has joined an exclusive club today.

His goal against Palace means he becomes only the eighth player - after those listed above - to score in seven successive Premier League games.

Van Nistelrooy has the best run of top-flight scoring form having scored in 10 games running for Manchester United in 2003.

    Jordan Ayew (62 mins)

Jordan Ayew has his first Aston Villa goal and it comes moments after his brother Andre failed to score at the other end. Villa broke after Brad Guzan saved the Swansea forward's effort and Gabriel Agbonlahor crossed it for his Ghanaian team-mate to head in at the back post unmarked.
