"That is deemed by the City players, and any human being who is right thinking, as bad sportsmanship. That was pretty unsavoury all round."

Colin, Leeds: What is the Villa supporter's beef with Delph (and Barry in the past)? He's gone from a club fighting off relegation to one that's fighting for the league and champion's league. Yes, there's more money to be had for playing for City than Villa but why is that an issue? People leave one workplace for another all the time, they don't get abused for it. Bitter bunch indeed.

Alistair, Edinburgh: Had a lot of time for Garde at Lyon, and genuinely hope he succeeds with Villa, but let's not get carried away with one solid hour against a profligate City side please!

Very neat from Villa, they're not panicking at this stage, keeping the ball nicely.

Jordan Veretout's cross is catching practice for Joe Hart though.

At the other end, Jesus Navas breaks clear, but Raheem Sterling can't control his cutback.

Wasteful from Aleksandar Kolarov. He has time and space to pick a man out from the left but shanks it out of play. He apologises to his team-mates and so he should!

If you're looking for a man-of-the-match, look Micah Richards' way. He has headed, blocked, tackled everything in front of his path today.

Leandro Bacuna almost gets to a through ball but Joe Hart scampers out to collect.

"It's not been Scott Sinclair's type of game where he can take the full-back on. It's more been about work rate. Scott likes to weave his magic but in the modern game it's difficult for him to show his skills."
