    Swansea v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

    John Roder
    MOTD commentator at Liberty Stadium

"Only one Premier League win since the end of August for Swansea and a solitary point for Bournemouth from their last six in the league - you can see why this is seen as a crucial fixture.

"The Premier League needs young British managers like Monk and Howe. They won't be enjoying this challenging period in their career, but will be learning much from it."

"The temperature is due to plunge on the south coast and so might the goal tally. Stoke arrive at St Mary's having not conceded on the road since 12 September and with a squad full of confidence.

"Southampton, with only one defeat in nine in the league, have ghosted up the table in recent weeks. With both sides in form there's no better time for these two to clash."

Watford striker Troy Deeney says he has "proved people wrong all my life" and invited six former inmates from his time in prison to his side's game against Manchester United today.

So we want to know which player has proved you wrong, in a good or a bad way.

David, Northampton: Along with lots of other Leicester fans, I thought we should sell Jamie Vardy to West Brom for £5m in January. I'm very glad I'm not the manager!

    Watford 0-1 Man Utd

    David Pleat
Former Tottenham boss on BBC Radio 5 live

Watford are just not asserting themselves, they need to get some rhythm, a few series of passes, but Manchester United are in control.

"It's not been a vintage performance from the visitors but Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin look more than assured in midfield, as do the two centre-backs behind them.

    Newcastle v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

    Simon Brotherton
MOTD commentator at St James' Park

"Newcastle have picked up a bit lately with a win and a couple of clean sheets and victory in this one would see them win back-to-back games for the first time in a year.

"Leicester are aiming for a fourth consecutive win, but have an awful record up at St James' - having lost on 14 of their last 16 visits.

  14. Who are ya?published at 13:20

    Jamie VardyImage source, PA

Can Jamie Vardy write himself into Premier League history? Of all the players you might have picked to be in with a chance of equalling ex-Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record of scoring in 10 consecutive Premier League goals, Vardy probably wouldn't be very high on the list - apart from if he wrote it himself.

But the Leicester forward has scored in nine top flight games on the trot and is one goal away from Van Nistelrooy's tally. In his way, an improving Newcastle side that has shipped 22 goals so far this season but have clean sheets from their last two games.

Everton v Aston Villa (15:00 GMT)

    Steve Wilson
    MOTD commentator at Goodison Park

"The most frequently played fixture in England gets a 219th outing, a little over 127 years since Villa won the first 2-1 at their Wellington Road ground.

"It may be a measure of the clubs' similar stature - or just a mathematical anomaly - but each has enjoyed 80 wins against the other, with 58 draws."

  18. Can Villa take advantage?published at 13:06

Everton v Aston Villa (15:00 GMT)

Aston Villa boss Remi Garde got off to a decent start in his first game in charge as his side drew 0-0 with Manchester City at home. He's had the international break to try and get his message across to his players and he'll hope they've taken what he said on board as the top flight's bottom team need points...and quick.

They should take some hope from the fact that Everton have conceded the second-joint most goals at home in the Premier League so far this season with 11. The Toffees have won two, lost two and drawn two at Goodison Park so they're consistently inconsistent. Can Villa take advantage?
