    Bournemouth 3-3 Everton (Stanislas)

Do not adjust your live text. Bournemouth really have equalised. Bournemouth stream forward from the kick-off, Matt Ritchie clips a cross in from the left, and Junior Stanislas heads home. Mad. This has to be the game of the season.

    Ross Barkley celebratesImage source, AFP

Where on earth has that come from? An absolute heartbreaker for Bournemouth. Seamus Coleman burrows his way into the penalty, the ball ricochets off his shins into the path of Ross Barkley, and the Everton youngster turns and gets a shot off. Ryan Allsop gets a hand to it, but the ball trickles over the line.

And Bournemouth have done it! They've got the equaliser! A quickly taken free kick is rolled to Joshua King, he burns Brendon Galloway down the right wing and fires in a cutback which is rifled home by Junior Stanislas. Brilliant fightback by the Cherries, and the Vitality Stadium is rocking.

"What a goal! There is no pressure on Smith and that is a criticism of the Everton defence, but Smith still hit that so sweetly."

    Bournemouth 1-2 Everton (Smith)

Tell you who will definitely be getting a start next week - Adam Smith! He's just scored an absolute thronker! The ball is headed out to the substitute right-back about 25 yards out, he takes a couple of touches and dispatches an absolute thunderbolt into the top corner. Cut across it right-footed, hint of curl, kissed the inside of the post and in. Belter!

    Bournemouth 0-2 Everton

Bournemouth injury update: number 4,621 in an ongoing series. Goalkeeper Adam Federici is wearing a protective boot on the sidelines and looking pretty glum. Wonder if Ryan Allsop will get a start this week?

  14. Postpublished at 75 mins

    Bournemouth 0-2 Everton

Joshua King goes wide to allow Murray to play up front and it so nearly pays immediate dividends! The forward skips past the challenge of Brendon Galloway on the right and fires in a teasing cross, but there's no-one there to capitalise. Got to be gambling at the back stick!

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 73 mins

    Bournemouth 0-2 Everton

Dear oh dear, more injury woe for Bournemouth. No Christmas break for the physio this year. This time it's Harry Arter who is injured - it looks like a hamstring pull. Striker Glenn Murray replaces him.

  16. Postpublished at 71 mins

    Bournemouth 0-2 Everton

Matthew, Matthew, Matthew. You can't be doing that. Bournemouth win a corner on the right, but Ritchie swings it straight into the side netting. Sighs all round.

  17. Postpublished at 68 mins

    Bournemouth 0-2 Everton

Another great chance for Bournemouth! Matt Ritchie meets Junior Stanislas's cut-back absolutely flush on the half-volley, but sends it straight into the breadbasket of Tim Howard. Struck it too well!

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 66 mins

    Bournemouth 0-2 Everton

In fact McCarthy is not going to be able to continue after all. He trots off, and is replaced by Tom Cleverley.

  19. Postpublished at 63 mins

McCarthy continues, and so does the Bournemouth fightback. They press forward and win another corner, but it's cleared and Everton break. Arouna Kone has a shot, but it's well blocked.
