"Lukaku is a powerful lad. He needs to be more consistent, but when he's on song he's as good as any forward in the Premier League, of that there's no doubt."

"Everton can push into the top four - they have a great chance. But at the moment they are inconsistent, hot and cold too often."

    Bournemouth v Everton (15:00 GMT)

After a bright start to the season, Bournemouth have won only one of their last ten matches, and have lost four of their last five.

Defending has been the big problem for Eddie Howe's side - they've conceded 27 goals from their 13 matches, more than any other side.

On the plus side, they are fast starters - they've netted a league-high five goals in the first 15 minutes of games.

BBC Match of the Day commentator at Vitality Stadium

"The first ever league meeting between these sides promises much, as both play very entertaining football.

"I commentated on Bournemouth's 4-3 victory at West Ham in August, but despite several encouraging performances they have only claimed one further victory. The defence has looked vulnerable.

"The key will be to contain in-form trio Romelu Lukaku, Ross Barkley and Gerard Deulofeu."

    Bournemouth v Everton (15:00 GMT)

Our man Mark Lawrenson has had his say on this one in his weekly predictions, and he's going for a Bournemouth win.

He says: "This is a gut feeling more than anything else. Bournemouth really should have got three points against Swansea last time out.

"It is certainly not based on their previous form, because they have only won one of their last 10 league games, but they are still creating chances and scoring goals and I think they will get the win they have been waiting for on Saturday."

There are plenty of tasty clashes in the Premier League, but surely none could be sweeter than this meeting of the Cherries and the Toffees.

After all, these two teams have a reputation for playing some of the most mouthwatering attacking football in the division, under two of the brightest young coaches in Eddie Howe and Roberto Martinez.

But while the Toffees are yet to come unstuck, up in 7th place, Bournemouth are poised precariously in 19th, but have arguably been unlucky not to pick up more wins so far. Can they get their just deserts today?
