Eighth-tier Didcot certainly did not disgrace themselves this afternoon but their terrific cup run is over in front of a club record 2,707 fans.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 83 mins

    Didcot Town 0-3 Exeter City

Didcot's James Organ is inches away from a goal that he would have told his grandchildren about.

He arrives at pace at the far post and strikes his shot first time but is denied by the underside off the crossbar, via the deftest of touches from Exeter keeper Robert Olejnik. That's a superb save and the Didcot left-back is very unlucky not to be on the scoresheet.

GOAL - Didcot Town 0-2 Exeter Citypublished at 73 mins

    Tom Nichols

Moments after Didcot were denied from close range by Exeter keeper Robert Olejnik, the Grecians deliver what will probably be the decisive blow at the other end.

Tom Nichols bundles the League Two side's second goal of the day over the line after Clinton Morrison's flick across the six-yard box.

That's slightly harsh on Didcot's impressive goalkeeper Leigh Bedwell, who made a terrific save seconds earlier.

  13. Impact sub?published at 13:32

No place in the starting XI for 43-year-old Chesham striker Barry Hayles today. The veteran will have to try and make an impact from the bench against his former side.
