Both managers deserve credit. Martinez was under pressure last season and he's come through that spell and this season they're playing the type of football we'd expect.

Who do you consider the Premier League's most under-rated foreign players - and why?

Nathan Brown: Son Heung- min. He changed the dynamic at Tottenham for the better. He can pass and shoot well at the front.

Luke: Carles Gil is massively underrated. Has the ability to unlock nearly impossible doors. Far too good for Villa.

James Commins: In this game it has to be Jedinak, consistent starter under every Palace manager, always does a job and a set-piece specialist.

Everton's first corner, taken by Gareth Barry, is poor but the ball comes back across from John Stones and Brendan Galloway flicks into the six-yard box but Palace clear with Romelu Lukaku lurking.

More step-overs from Everton's irrepressible Gerard Deulofeu but his cross is sliced wide.

  6. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

A bit of a lull at Goodison after both sides came close to opening the scoring. Palace began the better but Everton have settled now and look dangerous whenever they come forward. As has been the case recently, Gerard Deulofeu and Romelu Lukaku are the main threats.

Yannick Bolasie has been Palace's best creative source down the right.

Who do you consider the Premier League's most under-rated foreign players - and why?

Daniel Geraghty: Nacho Monreal has been the most consistent left back of the season. Improved immeasurably.

John from London: Nacho Monreal. Been one of Arsenal's most reliable defenders for a long time, yet no one really gives him the credit he deserves! He displaced Gibbs from the side and is now nowhere near losing his place.

Lukaku had a bit of luck - he got a deflection that got back to him - but once he gets it out of his feet he does well and he's unfortunate to see that shot come back off his post. We thought that was in.

Romelu Lukaku again involved as he flicks the ball to strike partner Arouna Koune but the Ivorian's shot from inside the penalty area is wild and wide.

Romelu Lukaku so, so close! He gets the break of the ball just outside the box but almost makes the most of it - his left-foot shot from the right side striking the far post and rolling across the goal.

The closest we've come so far.

Now it's Everton's turn to attack, with Gerard Deulofeu again giving Palace defenders twisted blood, swerving his hips away from three or four defenders.

Romelu Lukaku and Gareth Barry are crowded out as they try to take advantage of the Spaniard's skill.

Another Palace corner, which skipper Mile Jedinak nearly connects with, the ball comes back in from Bolasie and Connor Wickham gets a point-blank header that Tim Howard keeps out with his chest.

Great positioning from the Everton keeper, who didn't have much time to react.

Yannick Bolasie is giving Everton left-back Brendan Galloway plenty to think about it, sending over another teasing cross that earns his side the first corner of the night.

Cleared but Palace still on the attack.

Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu is not short of confidence and he produces a cheeky bit of skill, rolling the ball under his studs three times before back-heeling it past two Palace defenders and to team-mate Romelu Lukaku.

Nothing comes of it but plenty of cooing from the crowd.

That was brilliant link-up play with Lukaku. Lukaku made himself available, a brilliant lay off from the striker and Barkley was unlucky not to find the top corner.

Everton midfielder Ross Barkley has his side's first effort of the night, exchanging passes with Romelu Lukaku on the left of the Palace penalty area but he can't get enough curl on his shot, which flies wide.
