  1. Bristol City 2-0 Nottingham Forestpublished at 42 mins

A decent spell of play by the away side ends with a speculative shot by Henri Lansbury from distance. But at least Forest managed to show some control. They have rarely managed to string more than a couple of passes together.

  2. Bristol City 2-0 Nottingham Forestpublished at 40 mins

Some impressive skills from Ryan Mendes on the right threatens to create a chance for Forest but City break instantly and Jonathan Kodjia makes a surging run only to be crowded out as he nears his destination.

Bang on cue. Expect Dougie to go apoplectic about Forest's defending from that set-piece. A simple dink to the far post saw Aden Flint make a run and completely lose his marker. Luckily for Forest the big centre-half was unable to find a team-mate with his header.

Dougie Freedman is not a man who gives the impression he will always be calm and composed if things are not going well. And things are really not going well for the Forest manager.

They have played a fair bit better than results have suggested this season, but there is little to be positive about so far here. They are being dominated in just about every aspect so far.

  7. Bristol City 2-0 Nottingham Forestpublished at 30 mins

Jonathan Kodjia shows some nifty footwork on the edge of the box, sells a lovely dummy and then has a shot deflected wide for a corner, which Forest just about scramble clear. One-way traffic at the moment.

When Luke Freeman let fly then I think there were a number of fans in this stand, myself included, that was just waiting for the net to bulge

  9. Bristol City 2-0 Nottingham Forestpublished at 26 mins

A brilliant hit by Luke Freeman almost makes it 3-0 in. He takes a Korey Smith pass and cuts inside on to his left foot, but just sends his shot wide of the post.

  11. Bristol City 2-0 Nottingham Forestpublished at 26 mins

The Robins are playing some lovely stuff at the moment and look like creating a good chance every time they go forward. Luke Freeman is causing no end of grief to an over-worked defence. If it carries on like this, it will be a surprise if City have only scored two by the break.

  12. Bristol City 2-0 Nottingham Forestpublished at 22 mins

A warning sign for Steve Cotterill's men that. It''s been incessant home pressure but one break and a set-piece and it could easily have been 2-1. A genuinely brilliant save that. Will that lift the visitors? The confidence seems to be building for Forest and Chris O'Grady has a shot blocked.

  13. Bristol City 2-0 Nottingham Forestpublished at 18 mins

A fantastic reaction save by Frank Fielding stops Forest getting on the scoresheet, the home keeper doing brilliantly to tip over a Jack Hobbs header from a corner.

It's pretty much all Forrest have offered so far.

  15. Bristol City 2-0 Nottingham Forestpublished at 17 mins

Forest's re-jigged back line have looked a bit of shambles so far as they struggle to cope with the threat out wide. Daniel Pinilos has been the busiest defender on the pitch, with City seemingly targeting the left-back.

The opening goal was created down his side while Pinilos's fellow full-back Danny Fox has not had the best of starts either. He was very unfortunate to divert Aaron Wilbraham's in to his own net but was caught out for the second goal.

Forest make a terrible mess of clearing their lines and when the ball is worked out to the left, Derek Williams sends in a delightful cross which is headed home by Aaron Wilbraham for his second of the game.

It's fair to say the away side are all over the place at the moment.

A tidy finish from Aaron Wilbraham, who remained nice and calm to sidefoot in via a slight deflection after Jonathan Kodjia flicked on Elliot Bennett's cross from the right.

It's an impressive start from the hosts, with Forest barely getting out of their own half.

  19. Bristol City 0-0 Nottingham Forestpublished at 3 mins

City have the first sight of goal. Some decent build-up play on the right flank ends with Jonathan Kodjia shotting well over the bar.

Danny Fox is filling in at right-back for Forest. He could have a busy night.
