    FT: Reading 0-1 QPR

So, Reading missed the chance to move into the top six, as QPR's Nedum Onuoha won the game in the last minute normal time.

It wasn't pretty. It wasn't exciting - but Neil Warnock won't care.

He has guided QPR to back-to-back wins and will feel he is leaving the team in better form than when he took over as interim boss.

If Burton Albion boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's negotiations with QPR go well, Charlie Austin is looking forward to working with him.

The striker told Sky Sports: "It will be nice to work with a former striker but the main thing is we need a manager to come in and stabilize the football club."

In contrast, interim manager Neil Warnock looks like he is leaving QPR on the back of two consecutive wins. Will he be at another club soon?

He tells Sky Sports: "I love the Championship. It's whetted my appetite this. I loved every minute.

"I've retired about 18 times now - I love the game.

"It was difficult circumstances today because of what is going on behind the scenes. I thought we deserved it overall. A lot of effort went into that.

Some Reading fans are clearly unhappy with Steve Clarke after that display, and after he held talks with Fulham about their vacant managerial position last month.

QPR goal scorer Nedum Onuoha tells Sky Sports:

"It's a great feeling. We've been on the receiving end of a few of those (late winners) lately. To have that feeling back is really good."

That was a classic 'snatch and grab' win for QPR because the hosts had the better of the very, very few chances that there were.

Reading went close earlier in the second half through Nick Blackman and Michael Hector. But Ali Al-Habsi's goalkeeping howler has helped give Rangers the points.

Reading are desperately trying to find an equaliser but they have surely left it too late. Where was this urgency in the first 90 minutes?

It was hard to see that goal coming, but QPR will take an away win any way it comes.

QPR have surely won this game in the last minute of normal time and it is Nedum Onuoha with the downward header at the far post.

But how did the ball squeeze through? Reading keeper Ali Al-Habsi and the defender on the line both somehow failed to keep the ball out of the net.

Rangers - and Neil Warnock - celebrate.

Will either of these sides steal all three points? They have less than four minutes of normal time to do so.

QPR have a go but Charlie Austin can't quite get on the end of a ball into the box. It looked like he would have been offside anyway.

If ever there's an advert to ban Thursday night football - this is it.

There's just over 16,000 watching this in the ground tonight.

I bet they're all wishing they'd stayed in now to watch Doctor In The House.
