Unbelievable. Leicester keeper Kasper Schmeichel comes up for a corner, Liverpool break and Christian Benteke somehow fails to score.

    Chelsea 2-2 Watford

I know it's Christmas but Jon Mikel Obi can't score from 25 yards! Can he?

Very nearly. A low skiddy shot just beyond the far corner...

Happy birthday Hugo Lloris! A decisive contribution in the Tottenham goal today.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:49

    Liverpool 1-0 Leicester

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is shoring this up. Holding midfielder Lucas Leiva replaces fellow Brazilian Philippe Coutinho.

  8. Postpublished at 16:47

    Aston Villa 1-1 West Ham

Villa thrusting men into the box. A draw does them little or no good...

  9. Postpublished at 16:47

    Liverpool 1-0 Leicester

Leicester almost rescue a point but Andy King's shot is deflected over by Emre Can. Would probably have been against the run of play really.

  10. Postpublished at 16:46

    Liverpool 1-0 Leicester

A real wasted chance for Liverpool to seal this - they break about three on one and Jordan Henderson totally gets his cross into the box wrong and fails to find anyone. Shocking stuff. Two minutes plus stoppage time.

    Football League round-up

Rotherham's revival gathers further pace as they lead troubled Bolton 4-0 at the bottom end of the Championship.

Derby look certain to go top as they are now 2-0 up against Fulham.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:46

    Swansea 1-0 West Brom

    Hello. Trouble here.

Callum McManaman goes down in the box under a challenge from Leon Britton.

He appeals in vain for a penalty and then reacts furiously to something said by Swans defender Angel Rangel.

A shoving match ensues and referee Roger East dishes out yellow cards to McManaman and Rangel to cool things down.

Five to go as the hosts try and hang on for their first win in more than two months.

  13. Postpublished at 16:45

    Chelsea 2-2 Watford

Big chance for Troy Deeney! Odon Ighalo's shot is blocked, it runs favourably for Troy Deeney, he goes to curl the ball into the far corner but again Gary Cahill makes a sprawling block.

  14. Postpublished at 16:44

    Liverpool 1-0 Leicester

Roberto Firmino flashes a shot wide for Liverpool, who look set to keep up their record of not losing a home Boxing Day game since 1986.

  15. Postpublished at 16:44

    Man City 4-1 Sunderland

How many chances has Kevin de Bruyne set up here? Must be double figures. This time he plays in Wilfried Bony but the Ivorian's shot is straight at Vito Mannone.

All things considered, this has been an OK result for Sunderland. It could have been a lot worse.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:41

    Tottenham 3-0 Norwich

It's going to be a comfortable win for Spurs but only thanks to Hugo Lloris. He's made another excellent stop to deny Dieumerci Mbokani.

  17. Postpublished at 16:41

    Liverpool 1-0 Leicester

Philippe Coutinho almost makes it 2-0 to Liverpool with a fantastic quickly taken effort from 20 yards which ends up on the top of the net. About six minutes to go at Anfield.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:40

    Swansea 1-0 West Brom

Callum McManaman replaces Claudio Yacob for West Brom as we tick into the final 10 minutes.

West Brom's players are showing a bit more urgency, but are still struggling to pick apart Swansea's defence.

  20. Postpublished at 16:39

    Chelsea 2-2 Watford

Valon Behrami goes in hard again, over the ball this time and comes down hard on Cesar Azpilicueta - no card shown but a niggly challenge from the Swiss.
