    Jordan Henderson channels peak-Steven Gerrard there to chase N'Golo Kante, win the ball via a brilliant sliding tackle and then immediately ping a ball over the top to Christian Benteke.

    Unfortunately after all that good work, Benteke was offside.

    One man who does seem to have found a lease of life since Jose Mourinho left is Oscar and the Brazilian almost caps a wonderful move but fires over the top. Great build-up play down the right though. much more like it.

    Goals are non-existent so far in the Championship with the eight games yet to produce one between them.

    In League One, Walsall lead Millwall 1-0 as they eye top spot thanks to Milan Lalkovic's opener.

    Scunthorpe are winning their derby at Doncaster 1-0 thanks to a Paddy Madden goal, while in-form Swindon are trailing Gillingham 2-1.

    In League Two, Portsmouth have been pegged back to 1-1 by Leyton Orient and are also down to 10 men with Adam Webster sent off and Jay Simpson scoring from the penalty spot.

    Ooohhh! Swansea fans suck in their cheeks and count their blessings.

    Their side could easily have been pegged back as the Swansea defence, perhaps taking too much mind of Jonas Olsson and James Morrison, allow Craig Dawson to slip in unnoticed at a corner and he is only a foot away from connecting from a wicked delivery.
