    Man City 3-0 Sunderland

It's like a training match at the Etihad now. Manchester City keeping all of the ball but Sunderland not taking any risks or looking to attack. They know the game is gone, just trying not to lose 8-0.

Yaya Toure curls a shot that's going wide anyway but Vito Mannone gets down to keep it out and prevent the goal-kick...

    Chelsea 0-0 Watford

Watford still look very comfortable at the Bridge, seeing loads of the ball. Can they force a breakthrough?

  4. 'Not a dive for me'published at 15:28

    Tottenham 1-0 Norwich

    Jason Roberts
Former West Brom striker on Football Focus

"It was an excellent ball from Dele Alli to play in Harry Kane, and he takes a touch knowing full well the challenge is coming. But it's not a dive for me though. It's the right call for the penalty."

  5. Postpublished at 15:28

    Liverpool 0-0 Leicester

Divock Origi runs down the right wing, cuts inside and fires over. Leicester's 10-game unbeaten run appears to be in trouble.

But as I type that Jamie Vardy heads over from 12 yards out - with that guy, you don't need a lot of the ball.

  6. Kane slams homepublished at 15:27

    Tottenham 1-0 Norwich

Spurs were off to a wobbly start but they lead at home to Norwich, Harry Kane was tripped by Declan Rudd in the Norwich goal and Kane steps up to deliver the penalty straight down the middle.

  8. Postpublished at 15:25

    Liverpool 0-0 Leicester

Liverpool are on top of the game against the league leaders. First Emre Can forces a diving save from Kasper Schmeichel, then Mamadou Sakho heads over and then Divock Origi charges in on goal but his shot at the near post is saved down low by Schmeichel.

  9. 'Sunderland have let themselves down'published at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2015

    Man City 3-0 Sunderland

    Jason Roberts
Former West Brom striker on Football Focus

"It's disappointing this from Sunderland. It's not acceptable. This form is going to see them relegated.

"It's another wonderful ball from Kevin de Bruyne but there was no physical challenge on Wilfried Bony. When you play for a Big Sam side, those are the details you work on. So far, Sunderland have let themselves down."

  10. Postpublished at 15:23

    Chelsea 0-0 Watford

Odion Ighalo glances a header wide for Watford. Pretty even game so far.

    Man City 3-0 Sunderland

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Everton winger on Final Score

"That's the 10th goal Sunderland have conceded in their last four games. Sam Allardyce gets you organised in defence and set pieces but it's not been good enough today against Manchester City."

  12. Bony ends game as a contestpublished at 15:23

    Man City 3-0 Sunderland

Alright, they should just wrap this game up now and let everyone go home and enjoy Boxing Day evening.

Kevin de Bruyne takes a free-kick and Wilfried Bony heads home from about the penalty spot.

    Game very much over.

  13. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:22

    Bournemouth 0-0 Crystal Palace

Palace swing a deep free-kick into the penalty area and Scott Dann goes down - he wants a penalty! No.

Then straight up the other end Junior Stanislas teases in a beauty of a cross and Matt Ritchie and Glenn Murray get in each other's way and stuff a header wide. Big, big chance!

  15. Postpublished at 15:21

    Man City 2-0 Sunderland

Sunderland have a chance to get back into this game but Danny Graham heads Fabio Borini's cross just wide. Joe Hart wouldn't have stood a chance there.

  16. Postpublished at 15:19

    Swansea 1-0 West Brom

As close as West Brom have come.

Chris Brunt lines up a free-kick and, via a chunky deflection off Leon Britton, almost finds the top corner.

    Lukas Fabianski was rooted.

  17. Boxing Day bathpublished at 15:19

    Football League latest

In League Two, veteran defender Paul Robinson's afternoon lasted just four minutes for AFC Wimbledon before a red card against Bristol Rovers earned him an early bath.

In-form Portsmouth are already 1-0 up at Leyton Orient thanks to Gareth Evans.

In League One, ex-Fleetwood boss Micky Mellon is getting the better of his former club as Shrewsbury lead 1-0.

  18. 'Defending will disappoint Allardyce'published at 15:19

    Man City 2-0 Sunderland

    Jason Roberts
Former West Brom striker on Football Focus

"Huge credit to Raheem Sterling for the first Manchester City goal. To be able to direct the ball so accurately when the ball had so much pace on it, that is a real skill.

"On the second goal though, Sunderland just backed off Yaya Toure. I don't think you can have a go at the goalkeeper, but Sam Allardyce will be disappointed with the defending."

  19. Manager reactionpublished at 15:18

    Stoke 2-0 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal, speaking to BBC Sport: "We have lost the game in the first 45 minutes because we didn't dare to play our football. That is what I have analysed.

"The circumstances now play a bigger role and will in the next game also. We have to cope with that and look for the solution

"It is very difficult as I'm also part of four losses and I have to cope with that. More important is that my players have to perform.

"I thought it was the right decision [to leave out Wayne Rooney] otherwise I would not have done it.

"I don't think that is interesting what they [the headlines] do to me. I have said they have to stick by the facts. The scrutiny is alright for me, I'm used to that. You have to stick by the facts and not rubbish.

"I have received it [backing of club] all the time but we have lost today so there is a new situation. I feel the support of my players and my board. The fans will be disappointed but that is logical after four defeats."

  20. Man City take controlpublished at 15:18

    Man City 2-0 Sunderland

David Silva picks out Yaya Toure, who turns one and another - making a fool of Jordi Gomez in the process - and the Ivorian pings in a brilliant low shot from 22 yards which finds the bottom corner of the net.

Game over at the Etihad surely.
