  3. Saido on the move?published at 13:09

Away from the action at Carrow Road for a minute or two, I'd like to focus on a striker who could be on the move this week.

Will Tottenham or Newcastle make good on their long-standing interest in West Brom forward Saido Berahino?

    Norwich 0-1 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 live

"There is the tiniest suspicion of offside for the goal but the assistant referee has absolutely nailed it, it was not offside, he was in line with the last defender.

"The goalkeeper gets his foot to it and it seems to take an eternity to go in. It was their second real attack and it is 1-0 Liverpool."

  5. Postpublished at 13:05

    Norwich 0-1 Liverpool

That was the first shot on goal in the match. For either side.

And it should be 2-0 Liverpool as James Milner takes advantage of a bus-sized hole in the Norwich back four to gallop clear on goal, but he delays too long and is held up by a sliding Robbie Brady.

  6. goal

    GOAL - Norwich 0-1 Liverpoolpublished at 13:03

    Roberto Firmino (18 mins)

A bobbler! James Milner slips a pass in behind a suspiciously square Norwich defence and Roberto Firmino is just onside. Left footed, he barely catches his shot but does just enough to scuff a shot past the boot of Declan Rudd and in off the far post.

  7. 'An open game'published at 13:00 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2016

    Norwich 0-0 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 live

"I have no memory of the Norwich keeper Declan Rudd touching the ball, at least with his hands.

"It is an enjoyable open game without any massive chances so far. Nathan Redmond looks up for it.

"For Liverpool Nathaniel Clyne looks dangerous on the right-hand side. I expect chances to start forming quite soon."

Liverpool's Roberto Firmino in action with Norwichs Russell Martin. That's about as close as the Reds have got to the ball so far...

  10. Postpublished at 12:52

    Norwich 0-0 Liverpool

It's a promising opening from the men in yellow and green. The busy Steven Naismith drops into the hole and knits together a neat move, pinging in Nathan Redmond down the right. He flashes in a low cross which has goal written all over it but old father time himself, Kolo Toure, is there to sweep away.

Has got to be an announcement, over the Emirates PA system, to Everton fans about trains to Liverpool being cancelled. This was followed by a rendition of "2-1 and you're walking home" from the Arsenal lot. Fair play, it was quick from them.

Norwich boss Alex Neil, speaking to BT Sport: "We have been desperate to stay in the league since the start of the season. We would have liked to have strengthened more last summer, but we have done it now.

"Steven Naismith is experienced in the Premier League, so it is not a concern putting him in."

Liverpool fans will remember the last time Norwich beat them. It may even be a fond memory.

In April 1994 The Kop played out its final match as an all-standing enclosure.

Ahead of the game, the Reds paraded legends who had played in front of the famous structure as one of English football's most famous landmarks would be changed forever.

Jeremy Goss volleyed the only goal of the game at the Kop End as Norwich ruined the party with a 1-0 win. In 22 years since, they've not beaten Liverpool.

Adam Blanks: At Leyton Orient, one of our players named Darius Henderson was stuck in traffic so arrived at the game at half time. When he arrived our president, Francessco Bechetti announced on the PA system, "thank you Mr Henderson for deciding to turn up"

Martin Hesketh: "Could a Mr Alan Partridge please report to the nearest steward..." The amount of "ah-haa"'s after that was hilarious.

Robert Sutton: "This is a call for a man who owns a Vauxhall Corsa, your alarm is going off and is getting further and further away as we speak" heard at the King Power a few years ago
