The three o'clockers
The league's two top scorers come head to head at Priestfield in what will surely end at least three apiece. It's Gillingham, in third place, against Peterborough in sixth. Will Posh's goalscoring exploits be hit by this week's sale of Conor Washington to QPR? We shall see.
Leaders Burton host struggling Shrewsbury and dead-last Crewe have a tough afternoon on their hands as they host Wigan.
Norwich v Liverpool (12:45 GMT)
Norwich make four changes to the side which was well beaten at Bournemouth. The most notable ones see Steven Naismith and Ivo Pinto handed debuts. Matt Jarvis drops down to the bench as Nathan Redmond returns.
Liverpool meanwhile make just one change from their last Premier League outing against Manchester United. Adam Lallana drops to the bench, Jordon Ibe comes in.
West Ham 1-1 Man City
Former Premier League manager Neil Warnock: "I am really pleased for Sam Byram. I put him in the squad at Leeds when the Academy staff told me he wasn't good enough. He has lots to learn but he is a good learner and he'll graft his socks off.
"He is a Kyle Walker type right-back. A good signing for West Ham. He has lots of family who are West Ham fans too."

"Last season's 2-1 defeat at Upton Park was the moment when I doubted Manchester City would win the title.
"They had 70% possession but did not have the desire or discipline to win the game. It's happened too often on their travels.
"An instant replay would be a body blow. If Dimitri Payet is at his best and the Hammers shackle Sergio Aguero, it could happen. They're unbeaten at home in five months. City have been poor away.
"West Ham haven't managed a double over City since 1963 - the year TV instant replays were first used, , externalfeaturing in coverage of the annual American football game between the US Army and Navy.
"Commentator Lindsey Nelson had to advise viewers left confused by a replay of a touchdown: 'Ladies and gentlemen, Army did not score again!'"

Paul Morrison: This season at David Beckhams charity game, Jack Whitehall while handling the PA system, thanked John Terry for taking time out of his relegation battle with Chelsea to take part.

John Hartson
Former Wales striker on BBC Radio 5 live
"You'd buy Saido Berahino on last season's form. He's hardly kicked a ball for the last four or five months. Tony Pulis can see that he has been affected by the transfer to Spurs not going through.
"Tony wants him back - but the player he was last season. There's no way now that Spurs will pay £20m or so for him."
West Brom v Aston Villa (15:00 GMT)
Aston Villa
Former Premier League manager Neil Warnock: "Any Premier League team that loses their best three players down the spine of the team would struggle. Fabian Delph, Christian Benteke and Ron Vlaar - you can't replace players like that. The recruitment over the last few years has left a lot to be desired. They are not going to get out of trouble.
"It will not be easy next year either, they will be the big scalp. The Championship will hit Remi Garde hard."
West Brom v Aston Villa (15:00 GMT)
Simon Brotherton
Match of the Day commentator
"A 2-1 home win over West Brom last season gave Tim Sherwood his first victory as Aston Villa's manager - helping to spark their successful fight against relegation.
"A similar result at The Hawthorns this weekend would be Remi Garde's first away win since taking over, and perhaps give them a faint glimmer of hope.
"But these are difficult days for those of a claret and blue persuasion and the club's hierarchy were not surprisingly grilled by fans at the Supporters Trust AGM this week. , external
"Matches between these two clubs always seem to be close and there's nothing to suggest anything different this time, with Albion looking to do the double over Villa in the top flight for the first time in just over 50 years."
The three o'clockers
In this afternoon's Championship games it's all eyes on the Riverside as leaders Middlesbrough aim to keep ahead of the pack by beating Nottingham Forest. Hull, giving chase in second, are at strugglers Fulham though and will be hoping to keep the pressure firmly applied.
At the bottom. MK Dons boss Karl Robinson called this 'a massive week' for his club and with phase one completed by beating Northampton in midweek and earning a plum cup tie with Chelsea, it's all about a win at doomed Bolton today and climbing away from trouble.
Watford v Newcastle (15:00 GMT)
John Hartson
Former Wales striker on BBC Radio 5 live
"Watford were very humble when they won four in a row and were getting so many plaudits so they deserve to be given some time when losing four in a row. I was disappointed in them in losing at Swansea last Monday.
"But they have points in the bank, they can have a bad run."
Watford v Newcastle (15:00 GMT)
John Motson
BBC Match of the Day commentator
"This week I watched a recording of Newcastle's game against West Ham and it was as well as I have seen them perform this season.
"Jonjo Shelvey made a big difference, but it was also the best I have seen Aleksandar Mitrovic play - he was man-of-the-match for me.
"Watford may enjoy a psychological advantage here, having beaten Newcastle twice already - including an FA Cup victory when a weakened Hornets side eliminated a full-strength Magpies team.
"But they have been poor in their last two league games, at Southampton and Swansea, failing to create enough chances for dangerous front two Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo, and will be desperate to avoid a fifth straight league defeat."
QPR v Wolves (12:30 GMT)
In the day's early Championship game it's Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink v Kenny Jackett in a tale of two sides craning their necks to try and see the play-off places creeping over the horizon.
That's a 12:30 GMT kick-off at Loftus Road. There is a separate live text on that game here.

The transfer window is in full swing now, and it's that time of the month when you get linked with anyone who used to play for you.
So obviously Sunderland forward Fabio Borini interests Swansea City. Of course he does!
Borini was a key man in getting the Swans into the Premier League and he may play a part in keeping them there.
But this gets more interesting as the Swans insist Andre Ayew will not be moving in the opposite direction.
Sunderland have had a bid of £14m for Ayew, 26, rejected and they are thought to be considering Borini, 24, in any fresh offer.
But Swansea coach Alan Curtis says there is no chance of a swap deal.
"Fabio would be one of a number of players whose name has been mentioned," said Curtis.
"But the talk of Andre going there as some sort of part of the deal is wide of the mark."
Sunderland forward Fabio Borini interests Swansea City, but the Welsh club say Andre Ayew will not join the Black Cats.

"That Sunderland have won their last two games against sides in the bottom six is genuine cause for optimism - if they should record a third successive win by beating Bournemouth, it will only add to their growing belief that the latest of their annual battles against the drop can end as positively as all the recent ones.
"That said, a look at their February schedule perhaps makes victory this weekend even more imperative as the two Manchester clubs, West Ham and Liverpool loom next.
"The visitors arrive in the kind of form which suggests that they'll be confident too, with just one defeat in their last five away games.
"They'll also be aware that defeat could even see them drop back into bottom three by Sunday evening."
