    Everton 1-2 Swansea

First yellow card of the day goes to Swansea full-back Angel Rangel, who goes in late on the back of Tom Cleverley. Deserved.

Cleverley's inswinging free-kick from the left is too long and sails out of play. Defender Ramiro Funes Mori is not happy, having to trek back all the way down the pitch again.

Sean Yen: I totally agree that Swansea is outplaying Everton. Really love to see another match where two teams fight till the end.

Rob Millward: £50million for Stones? Biggest laugh of the year... So happy we didn't get stuck with him! Takes far too many risks.

Francis Edwards: Stones is having an absolute shocker today, showing his inexperience when players put him under pressure.

Swansea striker Andre Ayew enjoying himself so far, a goal and now he's brimming with confidence, sauntering around the pitch with the ball at his feet.

Francesco Guidolin hasn't sat down so far, he looks like an irritable elderly gentleman who is waiting for the 268 bus to arrive at the stop.

Everton almost get back into the game immediately through Romelu Lukaku. The big, burly Belgian's barnstorming run forward cannot be stopped, but he screws his right-footed shot wide of goal.

Seconds later, the dangerous Ross Barkley forces a corner, which Swansea deal better with this time and are able to clear their lines.

    Where did that come from?

Left-back Neil Taylor breaks from his flank and feeds in Andre Ayew, whose shot deflects off the sliding John Stones and into the net. A half to forget so far for the young Englishman.

There was some controversy in the build-up to that goal though, as Swansea defender Ashley Williams handled the ball, but referee Anthony Taylor waved play off. The Swans took full advantage.

The resulting corner is well plucked out of the air by Tim Howard. Better goalkeeping from the American.

Paul Moore: The Tim Howard / John Stones penalty mix up goes down quite well with a little Benny Hill music!

aron nyagweya: OMG!! Even a £50m rated defender can do that.

David Robinson: Stones guilty of overplaying again there. Just get rid of the ball, it doesn't make you any less silky, it's good defending.

"It is not the best of corners but Gareth Barry made the run to the near post and his flick on was aimed for the far corner. Everton needed to hit back because Swansea were playing at their own pace and keeping possession."

Swansea the architects of their own downfall, they failed to clear the initial cross and showed slack marking at the corner.

Skipper Gareth Barry makes a run across the front post to Leighton Baines's cross and guides a first-time flick which nestles in at the far post via a deflection off Jack Cork
