Not many have made the trip to Hull this season so far and come away with any sort of reward.

Two draws and one defeat, against Derby on 27 November, are the only points Steve Bruce's side have dropped in front of their own supporters in the Championship this season.

'I'm becoming a bit like Del Boy...'

MK Dons boss Karl Robinson has joked he is becoming like Only Fools & Horses' Del Boy in the transfer market.

"I don't think we'll go into the market and spend money," Robinson told BBC Three Counties Radio.

"There'll be wheeling and dealing. I'm getting good at that, becoming a bit of a Del Boy at this, but it's the restraints and the enjoyment of working for Milton Keynes."

The Dons beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 on Tuesday to move out of the Championship's relegation zone.

Tuesday's 4-0 defeat at Derby County proved to be a chastening experience for Bristol City, whose manager Steve Cotterill acknowledged the gulf between the two sides.

"I could have had 12 players out there tonight but I am not sure we could have handled them,"Cotterill told BBC Radio Bristol.

"For quite a few of them, it was the first time they have been here (to play Derby) and it looked like it."

The Seagulls led 2-0 at QPR on Tuesday before they were pegged back by Charlie Austin's brace, and there were some nervy moments late on following Lewis Dunk's red card.

As mentioned, Brighton's 2-2 draw allowed Middlesbrough to overtake the Sussex side at the top of the Championship.
