Players clash again after Gay Demel bundles over Dundee's Nicky Low off the ball. No action taken by the referee on this occasion.
Another fracas for referee Kevin Clancy to deal. United's Guy Demel reacts angrily angrily after being fouled by Nick Ross. Both players are booked.
The first half enters five minutes of stoppage time, largely due to the break in play following James McPake's injury.
Now the hosts are in the ascendancy and Gary Harkins' shot is deflected over.
Dundee level. Eiji Kawashima comes off his line to punch clear but it's a tame clearance and Kane Hemmings volleys in the loose ball.

John Rankin's dipping half-volley is on target and Scott Bain has to act swiftly to beat the ball away.
There was a bit of tussling in the box at United's next corner before play was broken up. Dundee goalkeeper Scott Bain was booked for his part in it.
Dundee United think they have a second goal as Billy Mckay forces the ball towards goal from a corner but Kevin Holt hooks the ball clear. Replays show the officials got that one right.

Blair Spittal's cross is turned narrowly past his own goal by Dundee defender Kostadin Gadzhalov.
It's a suspected dislocated knee for James McPake with the injury due to be assessed at hospital.
McPake was booked for the challenge he made on John Rankin as the defender picked up the injury that led to his being stretchered off.
Kane Hemmings does well to work a chance for Dundee after being forced into the inside left channel but Eiji Kawashima blocks at his near post.
United attack again and Billy Mckay sends a shot over from the edge of the penalty area.
United have the lead. After a delay following the injury to McPake, Blair Spittal steps up to take the free-kick that resulted from the defender's challenge and curls the ball powerfully past goalkeeper Scott Bain.
