Great chance for Watford! 

The hosts go closest to opening the scoring as Jose Holebas floats a cross in and the ball sails over the head of John Terry and Odion Ighalo looks certain to head in, but he makes only the slightest of touches and Chelsea clear. 

How did he not power that in?

Chance for Watford now as John Terry climbs over Troy Deeney and the hosts have a free-kick, pretty central and 25 yards from goal. Jose Holebas launches it forward and the ball deflects off a Chelsea defender and almost falls for Etienne Capoue, but Chelsea scramble it away.

Sebastian Prodl sticks out a boot to take down Oscar as the Chelsea man attempts to peel away from him. Blatant foul and the Watford defender is booked.

Watford haven't had as many chances as Chelsea, but they look good on the counter. A swift attack sees Etienne Capoue win a corner when his effort is blocked and the set pieces causes the visitors' defence a bit of concern as they struggle to clear, with Odion Ighalo lurking. Eventually, Thibaut Courtois plucks the ball out of the air.

Another Chelsea attack as this time Cesc Fabregas nicks the ball and feeds a pass to Diego Costa, who surges forward. Good footwork from the striker as he works a bit of space inside the area but Craig Cathcat is across quickly to put the block in when Costa shoots.

Replays show Diego Costa being a very naughty boy, pushing over Sebastian Prodl. 

An off the ball incident, well spotted by the referee.

Plenty of blue, not much yellow in the middle of the pitch. Chelsea have plenty of space to build an attack, which they do now but the Watford defence is well drilled and Willian is left with no option but to curl a harmless ball into the area which is easy pickings for Heurelho Gomes.

...Ben Watson pings the corner into the area, but Cesar Azpilicueta heads away.

Diego Costa charges forward but runs straight into a crowd of Watford players and the hosts counter quickly. 

Troy Deeney knocks a long ball down for Odion Ighalo, who runs at the Chelsea defence before his shot is deflected behind.

Corner.

Worry ye not, Watford fans, Odion Ighalo does indeed run it off.

Nails.

Uh oh. 

This might not be good for Watford. Odion Ighalo is limping after clashing with Kurt Zouma. Will he be able to run it off?

Watford have gone for a very attacking line up with Jurado central and Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney either side up front.

Just three in midfield. Will Chelsea swamp them there? 

Both teams just testing each other out in these first few minutes, neither side really troubling either area.

Out come the players. 

After wins for both sides in their previous league outing, will one of them make it back-to-back wins tonight?

Incredibly, if Chelsea do win it will be the first time this season they have recorded successive league wins.
