It says something about just how dire Chelsea's start to the season was that they - the Premier League champions - would love to be in Watford's position in the table right now.

The Hornets are 10th, four points ahead of Chelsea, an excellent showing on their first season back in the top flight.

They could have been even higher but for a poor run of form since Boxing Day, having lost four games in a row until they beat Newcastle 2-1 last time out.

Two months ago, Cesc Fabregas was one of the players subjected to some angry scrawlings on a bed sheet, as he was labelled by one fan as one of "the three rats" blamed for Blues' poor results.

Since then, both Chelsea's and Fabregas' form has improved considerably, with the Blues bidding for their eighth game unbeaten in the Premier League.

In Chelsea's last league game - a 1-0 win at Arsenal - Fabregas completed 83 passes, more than any other player over that weekend.

He could be the difference tonight.

Anyway, I'm intrigued to know what you lot think will happen with John Terry.

Will he still be at Chelsea next season, or will he head off abroad to see out the final few years of his playing career?

A number of Chelsea fans grabbed their pens and paper to protest Jose Mourinho's departure in December

The moment John Terry said he would be off you could almost hear the angry scratching of marker pens on bed sheets as those Chelsea fans unhappy with the news set in motion their plan to make their feelings known tonight.

“There is a lot of frustration, in some cases anger. That will manifest itself tonight," Tim Rolls, chairman of the Chelsea Supporters Trust, told the London Evening Standard.

I've not yet seen any anger being manifested, just some people staring at burgers.

Watford make two changes to the side that beat Newcastle last-time out as Sebastian Prodl and Jose Holebas come in for Miguel Britos, who is ill, and the ineligible Nathan Ake.

New signing Alexandre Pato is not fit enough for a place in the Chelsea squad. Eden Hazard is named on the bench while Kurt Zouma comes in for Gary Cahill.

John Terry starts and captains the side.

Should he stay or should he go?

An unspectacular day of football on Sunday was lit up in the evening when John Terry dropped the bombshell that he would be leaving Chelsea in the summer.

Terry claimed he won't be getting "a fairytale ending" to his career, but yesterday Guus Hiddink hinted that the Stamford Bridge door is not necessarily closed on the defender.

So could tonight signal the start of the farewell tour, or the campaign to keep him at Blues?
