Everton utility man Bryan Oviedo, 25, hopes to celebrate a new three-and-a-half-year contract by helping his side to three points ahead of the Merseyside derby later this month.

The Costa Rica international signed the deal on Friday after showing he is back to his best following an horrific double leg fracture two years ago.

George, who has cerebral palsy, a condition which affects how your muscles work, was invited on to the pitch at Goodison Park at half-time during a recent game against Swansea by Gerard Deulofeu to take a shot at goal.

He received 86% of the fans’ vote, with midfielder Ross Barkley in second place on 6%. 

Everton full-back Seamus Coleman is warming up on the pitch with the rest of his team-mate and has taken a few seconds out to squirt a whole bottle of water over his face.

Just seven wins in the Premier League this season, the Baggies are in trouble.
