Guy Mowbray
BBC Match of the Day commentator at Anfield
"As Liverpool's former captain is fond of saying, they 'go again' - and it will be fascinating to look for reactions to Sunday's epic Wembley efforts.
"After their last League Cup triumph two years ago, City powered to the title with nine wins and only one defeat from their remaining league games, and I've a feeling they'll be energised into another massive push again.
"A note of caution though. That sole loss in 2014 was at Anfield, where they haven't won since 2003 and have only two victories in 47 visits since 1956.
"It's a place that could play a big part in where the title ends up, with Tottenham the next Premier League visitors."

The good news for Liverpool tonight: Willy Caballero is not starting following his three penalty saves at Wembley on Sunday.
The bad news for Liverpool tonight: Joe Hart, England's number one, is taking his place.
This is not where the Reds' goalkeeping issues end, either. Simon Mignolet remains an utter enigma, veering from the sublime to the ridiculous, often in the space of a single half. The home fans will be hoping he has left his over-sized shoes, squirty flower and collapsible car at home tonight.

Only one of you has got in touch so far to say you fancy Manchester City for the title. You're an army of one, Brad.
Personally want City to win the league, if they can go on a 5 or 6 match run they're in for a shout!
Brad from Manchester.

It has been a long road back from injury for Jon Flanagan. Tonight, he is starting his first league game since the 2-1 home win over Newcastle on 11 May 2014. He's made more appearances for England than he has in the Premier League since then.
Liverpool v Man City (20:00 GMT)
No Daniel Sturridge for Liverpool. He was suffering from cramp during the League Cup final. Divock Origi starts in attack. Mamadou Sakho's head injury means Kolo Toure starts in the centre of defence. Other changes see Jon Flanagan in for Alberto Moreno, Adam Lallana for Phillipe Coutinho and Dejan Lovren for Lucas.
Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Clyne, Toure, Lovren, Flanagan, Henderson, Can, Milner, Lallana, Firmino, Origi.
Subs: Ward, Skrtel, Moreno, Allen, Ibe, Coutinho, Benteke.
Three changes for Manchester City from Sunday's League Cup final. Joe Hart is back in goal in place of shootout hero Willy Caballero, Pablo Zabaleta is in for Bacary Sanga at right-back and Yaya Toure has failed to recover from a foot problem so Jesus Navas starts in midfield.
Manchester City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Clichy, Kompany, Otamendi, Fernando, Fernandinho, Navas, Silva, Sterling, Aguero.
Subs: Caballero, Sagna, Demichelis, Kolarov, Bony, Iheanacho, Mangala.

Penalties is the cruellest way to lose a game, let alone a final. But it is also the best way to spice up a league fixture between the same two sides, taking place just three days later at the home of the beaten finalist.
It was a tough old game at Wembley on Sunday - one with plenty of individual battles that could well last over into tonight (please let them last over until tonight!). However, there were only two goals over the 120 minutes, so let's hope for better than that tonight. Thankfully, this fixture has form...

That fixture list, it sure has a twisted sense of humour some times.
Three days after Liverpool and Manchester City slugged it out at Wembley for the Capital One Cup they meet again at Anfield.
City still have a Premier League title for which to fight. Liverpool? They'll be wanting some sweet, sweet revenge.
