Chance for Watford as the ball is lifted forward to Nordin Amrabat. He challenges Tim Fosu-Mensah but he used his hand and goes into the book. Naughty. 

Four added minutes. "United we love you" say the home fans. A fourth consecutive win is on the cards. A win that will take them level on points with fourth-placed Manchester City.

Juan Mata heads off as Paddy McNair replaces him to shore up the United defence. Job done. 

The home supporters are in good voice now. I think quite a few had left already, however, judging by some of the empty seats I can see. Change for Watford. Ikechi Anya replaces Valon Behrami.

United are now on the attack, Anthony Martial has it deep in the Watford half and is marching towards goal before Miguel Britos brings him down. Free-kick and yellow card. About 20 yards out. Don't give it to Memphis Depay!

Another corner for Watford as Ben Watson swings another one in. His delivery has been excellent tonight but this one is too long. 

Chances for Watford. Two big chances. Daley Blind clears a cross from the Watford left, it hits Tim Fosu-Mensah and falls to Nordin Amrabat who seems to have time only two yards out but Blind sticks a leg out to recover. The corner almost brings a goal too as somehow Sebastian Prodl misses a header from two yards out. How? How? How?

Jesse Lingard, the flavour of the month before Marcus Rashford arrived on the scene, is now on in place of Ander Herrera. Has he got some wizardry to earn a late win?

Manchester United have conceded 26 goals this season, Watford 28. Defence comes easily to them both and with Odion Ighalo, the most likely scorer, now off it may remain goalless. But this hasn't been a dull one. 

Will Odion Ighalo score for Watford tonight? Not now. He's off and Nordin Amrabat is on in his place. Are Watford settling for a point here?

Bit of a lull as Manchester United try to maintain their momentum. Watford hanging onto the ball cleverly. 

Quique Sanchez Flores has seen enough and makes a change. Almen Abdi is off and Mario Suarez comes on. Meanwhile, United's left-back Marcus Rojo makes way for Matteo Darmian.

That switch between Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford has given the English youngster a lease of life. He is rapid and beats Watford left-back Jose Holebas with pace again but runs it out of play. Promising.

Slight shift in the game now, Marcus Rashford is getting on the ball now out wide. He's switched with Anthony Martial. The 18-year-old finds the byline and smashes a cross two yards across goal but no-one can touch it in. Moments later Juan Mata's shot is saved. Corner to United. Comes to nothing. 

Another Watford defender blocks a United shot, this time Ben Watson. Home fans finding their voices at last. 

United have the ball back and urged on by their fans are gaining momentum. Ander Herrera tries his luck from 25 yards but his shot is blocked. The hosts and their supporters can smell a goal.
