  2. FA Cup is magical - Evanspublished at 17:34

    Bolton 1-2 Leeds United

Leeds United manager Steve Evans is understandably chuffed after leading the Yorkshire club to only their second appearance in the FA Cup fifth round since 2003.

"I'm immensely proud," says the former Rotherham boss. "The travelling fans deserved that. Apart from the last 10 minutes, we were outstanding.

"The FA Cup is massively important to me. It's magical. We want to be in it and go far in this competition."

"Peterborough were trying to pass through West Brom at times and it wasn't working so they went long, still with support up to the forward. It was clever tactics, they never gave up, and it paid off with the equaliser."

  5. 'Scoreline is not reflective'published at 17:30 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Bury 1-3 Hull

Bury manager David Flitcroft: "My team won’t give up, they go to the death. We had a crazy two minutes of decisions. Ryan Lowe’s goal was not offside, they go straight up the pitch and it’s not a penalty. Aluko went over very easily, we’re really disappointed in the officiating. But Hull were true professionals with a great attitude. The scoreline does not reflect what happened here today."

  6. Four seasons in one halfpublished at 17:29 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Bury 1-3 Hull

Hull boss Steve Bruce: "The first half was ridiculous. We had sunshine, snow, hail, wind all on a difficult pitch. This is where shocks usually happen but we did what we had to do and the penalty was a key part in the game.

"I made 11 changes but it wasn’t a load of youngsters out there. We have a strong squad.

"Chuba Akpom gets frustrated at times but you can see that he has all the ability in the world. He is blessed with natural ability but he needs to keep his head down and work hard.

"We had a great time a couple of years ago in the FA Cup and I have to keep my squad happy. They all need to play and they will continue to do so."

Carol Ann Wood: Have to feel for Pompey . They've been through so much & their supporters could do with an upturn in fortunes.

    Shrewsbury 3-2 Sheffiled Wednesday

"Shrewsbury won because they worked that bit harder. Sheffield Wednesday have the better players, but the home side just kept coming back and coming back."

  9. 'We let Dzeko & Jovetic go because Kelechi is so good'published at 17:28 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Aston Villa 0-4 Man City

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini: "I'm very happy. We made some important changes because it's important to rotate with so many matches to play.

"Kelechi is a very good young player. We let Jovetic and Dzeko go because I see Kelechi every day and know what he can do. Sagna made well at centre-back, he didn't make any mistakes, and Caballero was solid in goal.

On the penalty, when Raheem Sterling wanted to take it: "I told Bacary Sagna to tell Kelechi to take the penalty. I see him take penalties every day, so he was in charge."

  10. We made them feel uncomfortable - Dychepublished at 17:27 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Arsenal 2-1 Burnley

Burnley manager Sean Dyche, speaking to BBC Sport: “We gave a better account of ourselves than in the premier League game here last year. Back then we tactically gave them too much respect but today was more about us. We wanted to mix our play and make them uncomfortable, and we did that.

"It was a closer-run affair this year, and we had some good chances. I’m really pleased with the growth my players have shown in that year, but we didn’t quite have enough and ultimately the disappointment is we haven’t gone through.”

  11. Poor start cost us - Gardepublished at 17:23 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Aston Villa 0-4 Man City

Aston Villa manager Remi Garde: "When you concede so early, it is very difficult. We played Manchester City and it was very difficult and not balanced. After the first two goals, they played quietly and we did not have much danger to cope with.

"The penalty was a bit harsh but it is done. I don’t want to blame the team too much and we have important games coming up. Even if City had their best players on the bench, it was still a very good side. We have to be 100% every game.

"Any incomings? I recommended to sign players who would be helpful for us in the race to stay in the Premier League. If I can have some new faces and new bodies, it would be the best for everybody."

  12. 'We worried about Sam Vokes'published at 17:22 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Arsenal 2-1 Burnley

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, speaking to BBC Sport: "Burnley are a good side. For the first 20 minutes we looked quite in control but when they equalised suddenly you could see, energy, commitment, and we had to dig deep to win the game.

"Every free-kick you worry because Sam Vokes is very strong in the air and he scored their goal - they are strong on set pieces and we needed to be alert."

  15. Pards wants to go all the waypublished at 17:22 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Stoke

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew: "We're doing well in the league and in the fifth round of the FA Cup. I'd have taken that at the start of the season.

"Lesser teams than ourselves have won the competition in recent years so we've got a chance."

  19. League Two updatepublished at 17:15 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

With leaders Northampton not in action today, there was a chance for Plymouth to go back to the top.

However, they lost 1-0 at home to Wycombe, who had 46-year-old Barry Richardson in goal for the final 75 minutes of what sounds like an ill-tempered game...

At the bottom York picked up a huge win at home to Stevenage thanks to a stoppage-time winner from Danny Galbraith.
