Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe, speaking to BBC Sport: "Credit to Portsmouth to how they moved the ball but in the second half we got a grip on the game and came out on top.

"It was a local derby against a team in good form and we knew it would be tough but the players showed tremendous character to see it out."

As Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge nears his latest return to fitness, it is hard to escape the feeling that we have been here before.

The England forward, 26, moved to Anfield three years ago but has been unavailable for 54.8% of his time at the club - that's 614 days missed out of 1,121 spent on Merseyside.

The most injury-prone player? No, as you can see from the graphic above.

"Christian Benteke really has not played well for Jurgen Klopp but this might be his day. I think Liverpool might have too much for West Ham."

  6. 'Everyone went home happy'published at 17:10 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Portsmouth 1-2 Bournemouth

Portsmouth manager Paul Cook: The most important thing was both sets of fans going away saying what a great game it was, it being a south-coast derby. People sometimes think you're not allowed to pass the ball in League Two. We are a passing team, we want our young lads to come through playing the game in a right way, but we are very disappointed to go out."

  7. 'We want a home draw'published at 17:08 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Nottingham Forest 0-1 Watford

Watford's match-winner Odion Ighalo: "The team really worked hard. We are happy and I am happy to get the winning goal. We have a lot of good players in the team, some guys came in and did their best and that is very good for the team.

"We just want to be lucky and great a draw at home and then anyone that comes our way we will be ready to go."

  8. League One updatepublished at 17:07 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

It has been a good afternoon for Wigan at the top of League One.

As leaders Burton were beaten 2-1 at Rochdale, and second-placed Gillingham lost at Blackpool, a 3-0 home win for the Latics over Port Vale saw Gary Caldwell's side move to fourth place, just two points behind the top two.

At the bottom Crewe's 1-1 draw at Millwall does little to help their fight against the drop, while Fleetwood missed the chance to climb out of the drop zone by conceding a 93rd-minute winner from Bradford City striker Steve Davies.

    Aston Villa 0-4 Man City

Manchester City's hat-trick hero Kelechi Iheanacho: "I'm so happy and grateful to score a hat-trick today. I took my time with the third goal, I let the keeper show me where he was going and I put it to his left. It's a great feeling to score my first hat-trick. I hope there's more to come."
