  1. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Bury 0-1 Hull

Bury think they are level as veteran substitute Ryan Lowe taps home from inside the six-yard box...

...but the offside flag was raised. No dice.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Watford

Forest keeper Dorus de Vries is having a storming game today, making a decent stop to push Nordin Amrabat's volley around the post.

GOAL - Shrewsbury 1-1 Sheffield Wednesdaypublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Jean-Louis Akpa-Akpro (56 mins)

Sorry Wednesday fans. I think that is called the commentator's curse (see 16:13 entry). Shrewsbury hadn't looked like scoring...but they have levelled. Jean-Louis Akpa-Akpro, that brute of a lower-league stalwart, heads in the leveller from six yards.

  4. CLOSE!published at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Portsmouth 1-0 Bournemouth

Gary Roberts should have scored his second. The Pompey goalscorer is put through by Kyle Bennett but, with just the keep to beat, he squares the ball instead of having a shot on goal.

  5. Big teams will hurt youpublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Arsenal 2-1 Burnley

Tendayi Darikwa paid the price for losing possession as Arsenal flowed toward the away goal. Punishing.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Aston Villa 0-2 Man City

Brad Guzan is tasked with keeping this score down for Villa. He again makes a decent stop to deny Raheem Sterling from 12 yards out after Fernandinho had put in a decent cross from the right. City could get four or five here.

    Shrewsbury 0-1 Sheff Wed

No sign of a shock at Shrewsbury. Champo promotion hopefuls Sheffield Wednesday not really looking like conceding at the League One side. But that could change....

  8. Postpublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Arsenal 2-1 Burnley

    Dion Dublin
    Final Score

"Alexis Sanchez doesn't thrash the ball, he just guides it in with his side-foot using the pace on the cross, a very clever finish. Burnley have been having a go but the quality of Arsenal is being to show through."

  9. Postpublished at 16:12 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Aston Villa 0-2 Man City

Aston Villa striker Jordan Ayew has hardly had a touch of the ball this afternoon.

In fact, he'll be thankful City have scored twice, allowing him to take the kick-off from the centre spot, highlighted by the heat map.

    Arsenal 2-1 Burnley

    Trevor Sinclair
Former England winger on Final Score

"Superb technique. The ball is put back into the box and there's Sanchez. World class player. Loads of players would have thrashed that shot and it would have gone over or wide, he just guides it in. Arsenal are showing their quality."

  11. Postpublished at 16:12 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Portsmouth 1-0 Bournemouth

    Dion Dublin
    Final Score

"Portsmouth have been so positive. I know Paul Cook the manager well and as a player he always wanted to play good football. There is a gulf in talent when it comes to individual names here but as a team, Pompey have been outstanding."

  12. Postpublished at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Stoke

Palace pushing for a second goal. Right-back Joel Ward wouldn't be the obvious choice to grab it - but he almost does. Ward's 25-yard effort flies just past the Stoke upright with the fizz of a freshly-opened carbonated drink.

  13. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 2-1 Burnleypublished at 16:09 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Alexis Sanchez (53 mins)

Burnley might rue not taking those chances at the start of the second half. Arsenal sweep forward - lots of one-touch passing pulling Burnley apart and the ball is drilled into the box from the right where Alexis Sanchez is waiting to sweep home.

  14. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 16:09 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Portsmouth 1-0 Bournemouth

Enda Stevens goes tumbling after being nudged in the back by Eunan O'Kane. Pompey want a penalty, Mike Dean says no. We play on.

    Pompey on top.

  15. CLOSE!published at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Arsenal 1-1 Burnley

Burnley are really getting about Arsenal now - Scott Arfield getting in front of the Gunners defence but his low, angled shot is easily gathered by the keeper.

  16. Postpublished at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Stoke

Palace have decided to have a half-time reshuffle. Midfielders Mile Jedinak and Jordon Mutch come on in place of Yohan Cabaye and Joe Ledley. Cabaye was clattered by Stoke's Stephen Ireland just before the break so that might explain that one.

The changes don't appear to have unsettled Palace's rhythm though.

  17. CLOSE!published at 16:06 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Arsenal 1-1 Burnley

Burnley go close early in the second period as Andre Gray ghosts in at the back post to try to turn a Ben Mee header home. Arsenal have Alex Iwobi to thank for a timely interception as Gray was ready to set up an upset.

  18. Don't laugh...published at 16:05 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Woking 2-2 Barrow

There was a lengthy delay in the National League when the linesman was knocked out after taking a ball to the face...

Thankfully a Woking fan has stepped into the breach and is now patrolling the technical area. Superb.

  19. Postpublished at 16:05 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Aston Villa 0-2 Man City

Aston Villa have clearly had a half-time rocket and Carles Gil drives into the City box but a little touch from Nicolas Otamendi is enough to stop the striker.
