  1. goal

GOAL - Reading 2-0 Walsall - Matej Vydrapublished at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

Reading have done some ruthless damage before half-time as a swift team move ends with a tap in for Matej Vydra.

He cannot miss as Stephen Quinn picks him out. Danny Williams deserves credit, nice vision to set Quinn for the cross.

    Portsmouth 0-0 Bournemouth

Portsmouth have edged this first half: they are snapping into the tackle, passing the ball well and using the flanks to good effect. Like the good, old days.

Bournemouth are struggling to match the hosts' intensity.

    Bury 0-1 Hull

Not quite raining goals, though, with Hull leading 1-0.

Loving the work of these lads, who go to the tie that is the last one pulled out of the hat for each and every round. Top, top commitment.

  4. goal

GOAL - Bolton 0-2 Leedspublished at 15:40 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Toumani Diagouraga

Told you Leeds were looking good value for a second! New signing Toumani Diagouraga endears himself to the 7,000 travelling fans by steering in Mirco Antenucci's left-wing cross for his first Whites goal. Long way back for Bolton now.

  5. goal

GOAL - Reading 1-0 Walsallpublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Hal Robson-Kanu

Reading could be eyeing the semi-finals like last year.

Wales international Hal Robson-Kanu has too much for League One Walsall as he rolls a defender to crack one in. Roof of the net.

    Bolton 0-1 Leeds

Leeds looking menacing at Bolton - for the first time in a long while. They have been toothless in the Championship, but are looking good value to double their advantage.

Geoff, via text: Listened to Trevor Sinclair talking about Saido Berahino. Careful what you say because Pulis handled a very delicate situation extremely well. Berahino poor attitude and not trained properly. Those are the reasons Saido sidelined. Everyone wants a Berahino prior to last transfer window.

"A definite foul on Simeon Jackson. Blackburn have just lost Jordan Rhodes, they have two centre-forwards making their debuts and both are linking up really well."

That's a proper penalty! Low, to the left of the keeper and tucked into the corner from Ben Marshall after Simeon Jackson had been brought down by Joe Skarz.

  12. Bad weatherpublished at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Bury 0-1 Hull

The weather at Gigg Lane has taken a turn for the worse, I'm not sure from here whether it is snow or sleet but cold, white stuff is falling on the pitch. A lot of ruddy faces in the stands.

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Stoke

The Palace fans are baying for Marc Wilson's blood. The Stoke defender hacks down Fraizer Campbell about 35 yards from his goal. Is he the last man? Possibly. But surely one of his defensive colleagues would have been able to get across to cover. Yellow card.

However, his own club's Twitter account are not so sure...

  15. Burnley level it uppublished at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2016

    Arsenal 1-1 Burnley

If you hang in there you always have a chance and if you hang one up in the box against Arsenal, that chance improves.

There's a brief game of pinball in the home area and eventually the ball is partially cleared. Burnley work it wide though and Tendayi Darikwa measures a cross on to the forehead of Sam Vokes. Power header, low and back where it came from. Level boards.

"Burnley have set up very patiently. The beauty of this goal is the quality of the cross - into that inviting area where it's perfect for Sam Vokes to rise and power into the corner on his head."

"Portsmouth are keeping the ball well. But they need to keep an eye on Christian Burgess, who has just fouled Glenn Murray again. Mike Dean had a word to say be careful, because Burgess has already been booked."
