The chances keep on coming for Bayern...the very impressive Kingsley Coman whips in a cross from the left but Thiago can't keep his header down.

There's a lot more purpose about Bayern Munich this half. Three chances in the first five minutes - Kingsley Coman forces Rene Adler into a save with a low effort before Douglas Costa fires just over with an ambitious attempt and Robert Lewandowski forces another save.

Germany boss Joachim Low is here and he's just embraced Pep Guardiola in the tunnel as the Bayern boss was making his way back out. Well, it is a cold night in Hamburg...

Bayern Munich don't deserve to be in the lead but Rene Adler's rush of blood has left Hamburg, who looked comfortable before the penalty, with it all to do.

And another booking...Philipp Lahm upsets the locals with a sliding challenge on Ivo Ilicevic. The referee is the most over-worked man on the pitch.

It's all getting bad tempered on the pitch. Hamburg are rattled after giving away a soft goal and Nicolai Muller is the latest to be booked for a foul on Kingsley Coman.

That was Robert Lewandowski's 16th Bundesliga goal of the season - and first from the penalty spot.

Terrible by Hamburg keeper Rene Adler who chops down Thomas Muller just inside his area as the Bayern man lifts the ball over him. The ball bounces wide but the referee points to the spot before bringing out a yellow card.

Another yellow card and Kingsley Coman rolls around about three times after Gojko Kacar's blatant trip. The Hamburg man holds his hands up...that was a terrible attempt at a tackle.

This isn't a great advert for the Bundesliga. The best thing about the game is the atmosphere. The Volksparkstadion is bouncing, The Germans know how to crank it up.
