Great turn of speed by Douglas Costa and Matthias Ostrzolek is left with no option but to drag the Bayern man down. First booking of the game.

Bayern are in their change strip of navy blue shirts with a dash of pink. They haven't got going at all. No chances for Thomas Muller or Robert Lewandowski to speak of. Where are the fluent, attacking moves we are so used to seeing from them?

Long range attempt by Aaron Hunt...and Manuel Neuer is tested for the first time in 2016. It's pretty harmless in the end but Hamburg are not shy at getting forward.

Kim Schurmann: Who would say no to manage Mr Marouane Fellaini?

GARYLYNCHDUBLIN: Arsenal is the biggest club in Europe who've never been champions of Europe, you can be the one to take us there.

Dan Middlehurst: West Brom: Dull, unimaginative, and one-dimensional football. We need help, Pep.

    Hamburg 0-0 Bayern Munich

It's a bitterly cold night in Hamburg and the fans are doing everything they can to keep warm. There's thousands jumping up and down on the spot behind one of the goals. It's contributing to a terrific atmosphere...lots of noise and banging of drums.

Great delivery by Kingsley Coman and Robert Lewandowski goes down as he tries to get his head on the end of it. There are Bayern shouts for a penalty but they fall on deaf ears.

Pep Guardiola is out of his seat in the dug out already screaming instructions and trying to make himself heard in front of a partisan 57,000 full house. Lots of arm flinging by the Spaniard. It's been a slow start by Bayern after a long winter break.

Bayern Munich have scored 44 goals in the last 10 meetings with Hamburg. That's a heck of a lot. Tentative start by the leaders at a freezing Volksparkstadion. It's -4 in Hamburg.

According to the back page of Friday's Daily Express, Pep Guardiola has been in talks with Manchester United - a claim denied by the Red Devils.

The former Barcelona boss recently apologised for putting managers under pressure with his announcement.

"It was not my intention to offend anybody," he said. "Normally in my career as a trainer and as a player, I respect my colleagues a lot."

It's the day fans of Germany's league leaders have longed for...football is out of hibernation.

Having last played on 19 December, Bayern Munich are raring to go and kick-off the second half of the season at mid-table Hamburg, who they hammered 5-0 on the opening day of the campaign.

Yet all the talk is about their boss. We know Pep is leaving. But where to?

Will it be Manchester City or can Manchester United upset their neighbours and persuade him his future is at Old Trafford? Or perhaps Pep Guardiola is heading for London, with Chelsea also keen to recruit the mastermind behind five league titles in Spain and Germany. And let's not forget Arsenal.

The last time Bayern Munich played, fans of the German champions were hoping Guardiola would still commit his future to them. But a lot has happened in 34 days and the Spaniard has announced he is on his way to the Premier League this summer.

Will Guardiola bow out with more glittering silverware? Defeat Hamburg in the first game after the winter break and Bayern will go 11 points clear at the top.
