A few more inches to the right by Griezmann and the 10 men of Atletico would have been level. But take nothing away from Bravo, that was a fine block.

This isn't over. A powerful run by Yannick Carrasco, who drives at the Barca defence, is brought to an end inside the area by Gerard Pique before he can pull the trigger. Then a cross is whipped in for an unmarked Antoine Griezmann who looks certain to score from eight yards out but Claudio Bravo's trailing leg saves Barca.

Mfreke Smith: Story of this season. Teams don't learn. Come out of the block with break-neck pace, get tired, points goes to Barca.  

Scrappy start to the new half. Barca continue to dominate possession while Atletico are packing their defence. It's going to require something very special for the visitors to get back into this.

What a match. Atletico made the perfect start thanks to Koke and appeared in control until a disastrous final 15 minutes which has put Barcelona within sight of going three points clear at the top of the table with one game in hand over their rivals.

Atletico's afternoon goes from bad to worse. An outrageous challenge by Brazil international Filipe Luis on Lionel Messi results in the visitors being reduced to 10 men. That was awful by the defender and home boss Luis Enrique shows his anger at the departing player as he makes his way off.

Atletico's defence has been impressive all season but they have been undone by twice in the space of eight minutes at the Nou Camp.

This game has turned completely on its head. It's a brilliant finish from Luis Suarez from the tightest of angles to notch his 19th league goal of the campaign after springing Atletico's offside trap following Dani Alves' terrific pass over the top.

Madan Roka: Breathless stuff. That's Messi for you. He's scored in each of his last four league meetings with Atletico Madrid.

That's only the ninth goal Atletico have conceded in La Liga this season while Barca have now scored 72 times in all competitions. The mood inside the Nou Camp has completely changed. 

That's more like it from the European champions.
