"Leicester deserve the lead, it was a soft goal to give away.

"Since then, they could have had a few chances on the break, but need to use the ball better. Manchester City have had one shot on target from Sergio Aguero but they can not get behind this Leicester defence."

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:33 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Man City 0-1 Leicester

Half a job done for Leicester. Robert Huth's early goal is the difference. Man City came on strong at times, as you would expect, but the Foxes held them at bay. Big second 45 to come. Huge. Massive. Monumental. OK, that's enough. You can follow it here.

  7. Rain watchpublished at 13:32 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

Cardiff v MK Dons (15:00 GMT)

Looks like the referee at Cardiff is in for a long afternoon. 'Can I go to the toilet, please?' 'Not a chance son, we need that pitch watched constantly'.

    Stoke v Everton (15:00 GMT)

Nice of the Potters to give their fans a heads up. Not sure what new signing Giannelli Imbula has done to be digitally rained on, though. Poor lad has to go out there and do it on a wet afternoon in Stoke - the real test of any professional.

Another one bites the dust. Oldham v Blackpool in League One is off because of the rain. That is the second game in the third tier to fall foul of the weather after Scunthorpe v Doncaster.

  12. Update from the Etihadpublished at 13:17 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Man City 0-1 Leicester

Having taken an early lead, Leicester are now digging in at the Etihad. The home side have had an effort on goal from David Silva andf Yaya Toure, as well as a shout for a penalty after Pablo Zabaleta was fouled right on the edge of the box, but the Foxes' lead remains.

The visitors also look pretty dangerous on the break. Largely because Nicolas Otamendi has been left swallowing a dust cloud every time Jamie Vardy gets the ball.

Racism in football continues to be an issue, but thankfully fans remain determined to play their part in combating the problem. Napoli fans aim to do just that by wearing Kalidou Koulibaly masks during Sunday’s game against Carpi., external

The defender was the subject of racists chants by Lazio supporters in Wednesday night’s game at the Stadio Olimpico, which resulted in the referee suspending play.

  16. Mourinho for Man Utd?published at 13:05 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

Chelsea v Man United (Sun, 16:00 GMT)

Just in case you missed our story this morning, we understand that Jose Mourinho (remember him?) has undertaken talks with Manchester United about becoming their new boss.

To fill in the gaps, the 53-year-old Portuguese, who was sacked by Chelsea in December, is increasingly hopeful of succeeding Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.

No agreement has been reached, and the club have made no comment, but negotiations have begun.

Dutchman Van Gaal, 64, is expected to leave United at the end of the season - one year earlier than scheduled.

Guess who United play this weekend? Yep, Chelsea.
