BBC Radio 2 presenter Jeremy Vine has been a Chelsea season ticket holder for 20 years but admits his side's title defence is now over. This week he tweeted a picture saying that he wanted Leicester to now win the league and, in an open letter on the BBC Sport website, he has explained why.

Pep Guardiola is going to have to fend off a lot of questions about Manchester City between now and the end of the season, especially if things take a turn for the worst at Bayern Munich in the last few months of his watch.

On Friday, the 45-year-old was firm in his assertion that his move to City will not distract him this campaign.

"Why would it be difficult? I am like a woman, I can multi-task and control both situations. I have a big talent for this," said Guardiola, whose current side are still chasing a league, cup and Champions League treble and could meet City in the latter stages of the European competition.

We need to talk about Pep.

Quite rightly, Senor Guardiola's appointment as the new Manchester City boss from next season garnered a bit of attention (certainly more than any transfer on deadline day).

The 45-year-old will leave his current role, as Bayern Munich boss, and head to Manchester this summer, bringing with him a record that has seen him win 19 trophies (which he will likely add to before his time in Germany is over).

Today is the first match at the Etihad since the announcement. It will be interesting to see how the Man City fans react to the soon to be deposed Manuel Pellegrini?

    Chris Sutton
Former Chelsea & Norwich striker on BBC Radio 5 live

"I don't think Leicester can win it. Even if they win today. Once they get to the last 10 games and think about it they will blow up. I think Manchester City have not gone through the gears yet. They have been inconsistent. They have Vincent Kompany coming back and will win comfortably. Leicester will need luck. They will have to keep key players fit. City have the strength in depth.

"How do Leicester respond if they lose to Man City and lose top spot? That will be a big moment for them."

    BBC Radio 5 Live

The day's big game comes in the early one - first v second! A cracker!

Leicester could go a step closer to the title if they avoid defeat, and we had two fans on breakfast radio this morning...

Adam Tomlinson: "Everyone was being very positive at the start of the season and I said I’d be happy with 17th! We had a new manager in and I would have taken safety. To be in this position now is remarkable.

"The players play with no pressure, they are relaxed on the ball. Everyone has underestimated us all season. Today the pressure is on Manchester City, it’s fantastic."

Robin Popley: "At the start of the season I said that the manager’s CV of Inter Milan, Roma and Chelsea pointed to the fact that we could do something special. Everywhere he has been, he has transformed the club. He is world-class."

  18. Jose on his way?published at 09:06 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

Yes, it's the talk of the town this morning - Manchester United have held talks with representatives of ex-Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, the BBC understands.

The 53-year-old Portuguese, who was sacked by the Blues in December, is increasingly hopeful of succeeding Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.

No agreement has been reached, and the club have made no comment, but negotiations have begun.

Dutchman Van Gaal, 64, is expected to leave United at the end of the season - one year earlier than scheduled.

That would leave the way clear for Mourinho, who is known to be excited by the prospect of taking over at Old Trafford.
