  1. OFF THE LINEpublished at 16:40 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Aston Villa 2-0 Norwich

Aston Villa still protecting their two-goal lead, but a goal for Norwich would certainly make the final few minutes interesting and Russell Martin is not far off getting just that as his header is cleared off the line.

  2. 77th minute protestpublished at 16:39 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Liverpool 2-0 Sunderland

After singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone' the Liverpool fans start to sing 'time to go'. The 77th minute comes and the home fans head for the exits in protest at ticket prices, which has seen some priced at £77. There are plenty leaving as well.

  3. Postpublished at 16:36 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Swansea 1-1 Crystal Palace

Very evenly poised at Swansea as this game enters the closing stages. Emmanuel Adebayor has been pretty quiet for Crystal Palace. I like his yellow scrunchy though.

  4. Postpublished at 16:34 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Newcastle 1-0 West Brom

This game should probably be dead and buried by now but Newcastle's wastefulness means West Brom remain within a goal of pulling level. Andros Townsend looks to give the home side a stronger grip on the game but his mazy run sees him take the ball out of play for a goal-kick.

  5. Postpublished at 16:32 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Tottenham 1-0 Watford

The fairytale is Leicester, but Tottenham's form this season is almost as good a story. Spurs are up to second as things stand, and they don't look in any danger of relinquishing their lead with a little over 15 minutes to go. In fact, they look more likely to add to their lead as Heurelho Gomes palms over substitute Son Heung-min's shot.

  6. Postpublished at 16:32 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Stoke 0-3 Everton

Little sign that Stoke are going to stage a huge comeback. Glen Johnson has a shot saved but it never looked like challenging Joel Robles.

  7. Football League updatepublished at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

Sheffield United mascotImage source, Getty Images

We're frankly short of goals this afternoon, but Sheffield United are 2-0 down at home to Wigan in League One. An average Premier League player's annual wage is more than Sheffield United's entire turnover. Quite a stat, considering it wasn't that long ago the Blades were competing in the top flight...

In League Two, Carlisle are two up at home to Accrington, playing on a pitch still recovering from the winter's floods.

And looking up at the Championship, Chris Burke's first goal for Rotherham has them level pegging with Bolton. And you won't see many better goals today than Craig Bryson's volley for a battling Derby against Fulham.

  8. goal

GOAL - Liverpool 2-0 Sunderlandpublished at 16:29 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Adam Lallana

That is likely to be that. Billy Jones is too slow at right back and has his clearance blocked by Roberto Firmino, who then carries the ball into the box before pulling back for Adam Lallana to finish into an empty net.

  9. Postpublished at 16:29 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Aston Villa 2-0 Norwich

Enjoying a two-goal cushion, Aston Villa are looking confident and they're not far off a third as Leandro Bacuna gets a bit of luck as the ball bounces through a Norwich player's legs inside the area, but he fires just over.

  10. CLOSE!published at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Liverpool 1-0 Sunderland

Patrick van Aanholt has been scoring regularly for Sunderland recently and he almost draws them level at Anfield with a shot from an angle in the box. He slices it, though, straight into the side netting. That is as good an opening as the away side have had this game.

A few of you are convinced that Norwich's defending is going to send them down...

Dan Carr: Norwich defend like a Championship side...which is where they will be next season. Neil needs to take responsibility

Callum Coghlan: As a Norwich fan I am resigned to relegation. 19 goals conceded in 5.5 games, players making constant needless errors every game.

  12. CLOSE!published at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Swansea 1-1 Crystal Palace

    Nearly a second for Swansea.

Gylfi Sigurdsson swings in a low corner and it bounces through to Ashley Williams, who knees it goalwards but Wayne Hennessey collects.

  13. Postpublished at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Liverpool 1-0 Sunderland

Liverpool draw a neat save from Vito Mannone, who has to get down to push away Adam Lallana's low shot. Soon after, Jordan Henderson fires over from range. Liverpool firmly on top now.

  14. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Newcastle 1-0 West Brom

Newcastle so close to a second as Andros Towsend strikes the base of the post with a shot from just inside the area.

  15. Postpublished at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Stoke 0-3 Everton

It remains all Everton at Stoke. Aaron Lennon's pull-back is met by Romelu Lukaku but Jack Butland saves the striker's toe-poke finish with his boot.

It seems Leicester's story has meant some of you are getting a bit carried away...

This game has not been a great spectacle, but Firmino did really well there. He pulled off the defender and nodded the ball back across the keeper.

Liverpool are now in front, after Sunderland clearly came here looking not to concede.

  18. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 1-0 Watfordpublished at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Kieran Trippier (64 mins)

Can Dele Alli conjure up some magic I asked earlier. The answer is yes. Yes he can.

Moments after coming on he provides the assist for Tottenham's opener, running on to Mousa Dembele's pass on the left and then crossing low across the face of goal for Kieran Trippier to tap in his first Tottenham goal.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2016

    Tottenham 0-0 Watford

Huge cheers from the Tottenham fans as Mauricio Pochettino sends on Dele Alli. He's on for Nacer Chadli.

Can Alli conjure up some magic again?
