Shane Daly: Man United are far more entertaining than Liverpool, yes United are dull, but less so than Liverpool.

Giannina Siragus:   I'm so not on board with a replay. Enrique coming on to score for the Hammers?

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 88 mins

    Liverpool 0-0 West Ham

Last one for the Reds, Joao Teixeira off, Jose Enrique on. Odd one. Where's Enrique going to slot in? He comes on, immediately takes a free-kick and hits it straight at the wall. Awful.

    Liverpool 0-0 West Ham

If West Ham nick this one, they should dress up as highwaymen for the journey home. A blocked shot earns them a corner, which Liverpool deal with, then break. Jose Enrique is getting ready to come on.

"None of the young players have looked out of place for Liverpool. There is a lot of hope there for the future, certainly."

Another change for Liverpool, Cameron Brannagan off, Jerome Sinclair on. Brannagan has had a decent night. A prospect.

    Liverpool 0-0 West Ham

Joao Teixeira needs treatment after being clattered, but he hobbles about and looks to be OK. West Ham get towards the Liverpool box for the first time in living memory, a Michail Antonio long throw causing Simon Mignolet to flap about like some Y-fronts on the washing line. When Enner Valencia goes down the West Ham fans want a penalty, but there's nothing in that.

The two managers have a natter on the touchline, with Klopp cracking a joke. "Can you believe they put this game on the telly?"

Sheyi Ojo on, Jordon Ibe off. The 18-year-old has got just over 10 minutes to change this tie.

  12. Postpublished at 78 mins

    Liverpool 0-0 West Ham

At the moment, you feel West Ham would be happy to get out of dodge with a replay. Jurgen Klopp probably doesn't fancy another game, but, then again, if he plays this team again, it won't affect his Premier League XI. Sheyi Ojo about to come on for the Reds.

Yet more chances to Liverpool. At least two, maybe three all in the same move. Benteke is put through and forces Randolph to save, with the keeper then stopping the follow-up. When it breaks free, Teixeira can't do anything from the angle. Liverpool battering at the door, but can't get it open. West Ham basically have not come out for the second half.

"There's a slight hesitancy in the Liverpool players when they get a shot off, there is not a natural goalscorer in them. Liverpool have a fabulous history of players who can do that sort of thing. To not have one now is hard thing for the Kop to take."

  15. SAVE!published at 73 mins

    Liverpool 0-0 West Ham

Another sniff for Liverpool, with Joao Teixeira finding space at the back post and getting away a shot, only for Randolph to block as he narrowed the angle. In the build-up, Joe Allen looked like he was thinking of an overhead kick. Honest.

    Liverpool 0-0 West Ham

Amazingly, Antonio seems to be limping as soon as he's come on. For the first time in a while, West Ham have got a decent spell of possession, but can't do anything with it. If we were marking this on points, Liverpool would be ahead.

Riyaz: If ever a game needed the drive of Stevie G, this is it.

Ross Took: This game has just been fouls and a couple of injuries...

Maj: this game is so dull that the commentary team are discussing gloves and the cold temperature

Last one for West Ham. Victor Moses off, Michail Antonio on.

  19. Postpublished at 68 mins

    Liverpool 0-0 West Ham

I'm not sure I can remember a time when West Ham made it into the Liverpool half. There's another hint for the Reds when the ball makes its way through a crowd to Benteke, in the six-yard box. The flat-footed Belgian can't control and it bounces away.

    Liverpool 0-0 West Ham

Liverpool are all over the Hammers now. Ball switched left to right, then back again, Brad Smith's effort eventually going over. Decent stuff, but no end product. That's 10 shots, but only two on target.
