    Trevor Sinclair
Former West Ham winger on Final Score

"I don't think Liverpool will have enough defensively to deal with what West Ham have on offer going forward. But the atmosphere at Anfield tonight is incredible. There will be a lot of people up from east London as well, so hopefully it will live up to the hype..."

As ever, it's a wonderful pre-match scene at Anfield. The players heading out to a deafening roar, then You'll Never Walk Alone. Hairs on the back of the neck stuff.

Cameron Brannagan is the next Steven Gerrard? If that's the case, an FA Cup screamer against West Ham might be on the cards.

Hassan Anfield: My favorite player in Cameron Brannagan starts for LFC. The next Steven Gerrard.

Nikhil Vaswani: Klopp already got 1 trip to Wembley, concentrating on league for now, top 4 still a possibility given how this season is going.

It's been raining at Anfield, but the wet stuff seems to have relented. One of those huge banners that cover all of one tier of a stand is currently being passed over supporters. Who brings those banners? Who folds them up? Do they get taken home for a wash?

As for West Ham, is this a wonderful opportunity to reach the fifth round? I'm particularly looking forward to watching Dimitri Payet (who isn't?). He was outstanding in the draw with Manchester City last weekend.

Just looking at that Liverpool team, if you're a player, should you be more concerned if you're in it? What does it say about Klopp's opinion of Christian Benteke?

So, what to make of all that? Are Liverpool sacrificing the FA Cup, or can Klopp's Kids hammer the Hammers?

And what about that final of 10 years ago? The best final since when? And one of the best FA Cup final goals? If not, what is?

Klopp has been having a right old moan about fixture congestion and now he's approaching the fourth-round tie against West Ham in the much the same he took on Exeter in the third round.

After Liverpool played 120 minutes against Stoke in the League Cup on Tuesday, Klopp makes 10 changes, with only goalkeeper Simon Mignolet surviving.

West Ham, meanwhile, keep six of the players that drew 2-2 with Manchester City last week. Electric-heeled box of tricks Dimitri Payet starts.

Well, I say that Liverpool are in the hunt for a second Wembley final of the season, but Jurgen Klopp may already called off the chase.

Stand by for some interesting team news...

    But I digress.

A decade on from an FA Cup classic, Liverpool and West Ham meet again, this time in the fourth round.

Anfield is the venue, the Reds are on the hunt for a second Wembley trip this season, while the Hammers are looking to end a 26-year wait for a major trophy.

I've seen it referred to as the Gerrard Final, which I suppose is a bit like the Mathews Final.

At least Gerrard scored in his (twice). Stan Mortensen was the man who got a hat-trick in that Mathews game of 1953, and he never gets a mention.

Ten years on from one of the best FA Cup finals in recent memory, the defeat is probably still as bitter for West Ham as the win is sweet for Liverpool.

West Ham 2-0 and 3-2 up, denied the Cup by Steven Gerrard's 91st-minute screamer then beaten on penalties.
