Stoke City manager Michael O'Neil isn't sure whether goalkeeper Jack Butland will still be at the club when the transfer window closes later.
But he said he's had "open and honest discussions" with the player and Butland has promised to fight for a starting place at Stoke if he doesn't leave.
Butland has got one year left on his contract and the club have said they are open to offers.

The Stoke City manager, Michael O'Neill, expects there to be more movement out of the club than in, before tomorrow's transfer deadline.
There are a number of players who have yet to feature in the league for his side this season and he has said the wage bill is too big for the Championship.
O'Neill said he was still looking for available players and "if the right opportunity came along" he might consider a last-minute signing, but they had to be "mindful of the surplus at the club."
Among those who could be on the way out is Jack Butland, according to BBC Sport.
