    Chelsea 0-1 PSG (Agg: 1-3)

    Martin Keown
    Former Arsenal defender

"PSG are so comfortable in possession, whatever Chelsea do doesn't seem to matter. You need confidence in what you do and that's what PSG are showing. Chelsea need to go more direct to Diego Costa to try and get back in to this."

You have to say this has been a very impressive opening quarter from the French champions. Zlatan is bossing it up front, Angel di Maria looks like a £50m+ player. C'est magnifique...

    Chelsea 0-1 PSG (Agg: 1-3)

Martin Keown called this pre-match - the Chelsea midfield two of Cesc Fabregas and John Mikel Obi are being monumentally monstered by the PSG trio. They can't get a sniff.

That goal means that Chelsea need to score twice without reply to take us to extra-time now. PSG have looked very, very good. Time to take them seriously - as winners?

  6. 'Frightening Zlatan'published at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2016

    Chelsea 0-1 PSG (Agg: 1-3)

    Martin Keown
    Former Arsenal defender

"We talk about Ibrahimovic making runs into the channel, and  Ivanovic doesn't go with him he just melts away. Ibrahimovic picks a great slide rule pass. It's frightening - the speed at which they mount attacks."

  7. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 0-1 PSG (Agg: 1-3)published at 16 mins

    Adrien Rabiot

Bang! A massive goal, and thoroughly deserved based on the last 10 minutes. Angel di Maria feeds a ball into the penalty area, Zlatan Ibrahimovic had rolled away from Branislav Ivanovic, he has time and space and uses both - before popping a low cross right across the six-yard box and it's a tap-in for Adrien Rabiot.

    Away goal.

  8. Postpublished at 20:01 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2016

    Chelsea 0-0 PSG (Agg: 1-2)

    Martin Keown
    Former Arsenal defender

"The Paris players manage the ball so well, they know where the ball is they know where their opponent is they know exactly what they need to do."

  9. Postpublished at 13 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 PSG (Agg: 1-2)

For the second time Zlatan is on the end of a set-piece, this time rattling a shot against the shins of Thibaut Courtois, but for the second time the big man is narrowly offside.

PSG have had 58% of possession so far. They mean business.

  10. 'Thunderous noise'published at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2016

    Cheslea 0-0 PSG (Agg: 1-2)

    Phil McNulty
    BBC Sport chief football writer

"The huge travelling contingent from Paris are making a thunderous noise and they have seen plenty to encourage them from PSG so far.

"Laurent Blanc's side have made a very positive start, knowing that an away goal, especially an early one, will put them right in control."

    Chelsea 0-0 PSG (Agg: 1-2)

I was expecting, fearing, a slow and steady game as the sides looked to work each other out but it's being played at frantic, Premier League pace. Pedro is hauled back by the shirt on the sidelines but Blaise Matuidi gets away without a booking.

  12. Defensive qualitiespublished at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2016

    Martin Keown
    Former Arsenal defender

"Di Maria did a good job there, he's not known for his defensive qualities. I was pleased to see him getting back, he's going to have questions asked of him defensively tonight."

  13. Postpublished at 8 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 PSG (Agg: 1-2)

The man in the mask is unmasked - Diego Costa takes off his protective garment. The next big header could be interesting!Angel di Maria and Pedro have a kick out at each other in the centre before Zlatan Ibrahimovic has a shot cleared away. PSG look excellent.

  14. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 6 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 PSG (Agg: 1-2)

Zlatan has the ball in the net from the following corner - but he's clearly offside. PSG looking for an early, clinical strike.

  15. CLOSE!published at 5 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 PSG (Agg: 1-2)

Oooh and almost a killer away goal for PSG! Lucas sends a neat pass into the path of Angel di Maria, he beats Thibaut Courtois with an angled shot but Branislav Ivanovic slides in and clears! Courtois got his angles wrong there for me.

    Excellent tempo...

    Chelsea 0-0 PSG (Agg: 1-2)

Zlatan Ibrahimovic drops back almost into central midfield to get on the ball and he orchestrates a good passage of play for the visitors. I've been wrong many times in the past, and I may be going too early here, but this has the hallmarks of a good night...

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 2 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 PSG (Agg: 1-2)

Well stopped! Chelsea win the ball back very high up the pitch, good play from John Mikel Obi, Willian tees up Diego Costa and the striker gets a snapshot off, but Kevin Trapp makes a big save to keep PSG ahead.

    Great start!

    Chelsea 0-0 PSG (Agg: 1-2)

Martin Keown has mentioned the word 'arrogance' four times tonight already in reference to PSG. I think he means it as a compliment. After all, they are not in London to make any friends.
