    League One round-up

Earlier this season, Wigan became sick of the sight of Bury, who knocked them out of both the League Cup and FA Cup. It looks as if the bogey may be put to rest today. Will Grigg and Ryan Colclough have scored inside the first 10 minutes, and Gary Caldwell's promotion chasers - who began the day in second place - lead 2-0.

It's goalless in the big game between leaders Burton and fourth-placed Walsall. Millwall, in fifth-place, are 1-0 up at Doncaster thanks to Steve Morison. No sign, as yet, of goalkeeper Jordan Archer repeating that astonishing headed save he performed against Peterborough last weekend. As for Posh, they are trying to halt a miserable run, having won just one of their last nine games. They're 1-0 up against Swindon.

Josh Hammond: I don't care about who scores the goals today. I just want to see if anyone can top Antonio's celebration!

Stephen Sutton: Southampton finally back where they belong, top 8 team.

Vancouver Foxes: Going to be difficult to break through, Norwich playing so deep and narrow.

    Watford 0-0 Bournemouth

We've not had any goals anywhere in the Premier League from the 3pm games yet, come on lads.

What chance of one at Watford? Not much, with things having settled down after a couple of early Odion Igahlo efforts. Since then, Troy Deeney got his header from a corner all wrong but no other chances to speak of.

    Yawn.

    Leicester 0-0 Norwich

Send up the big lads. Norwich have their first opportunity to cause a scene in the Leicester box. But their opening corner fails to find the twin targets of Ryan Bennett and Timm Klose. Wasteful.

    Southampton 0-0 Chelsea

Still it is all Southampton in an attacking sense. Charlie Austin, on his first Saints start, has a shot blocked, then Chelsea are forced to muck in and clear a couple of home corners.

Stoke have had almost 70% of the possession, but Aston Villa are certainly not parking the bus. They have got Carles Gil playing pretty advanced, with Gabriel Agbonlahor in close company. No chances for Villa to speak of so far, though.

Even steven in the East Midlands. But then it bursts into life.

Fantasy Football managers up and down the land are nearly celebrating when Leicester defender Robert Huth climbs highest in the Norwich box - but his header flies over the Norwich bar.

Then some desperate defending from the visitors denies Foxes forward Shinji Okazaki, before Canaries skipper Russell Martin unconvincingly hacks clear Jamie Vardy's cross.

    Leicester threatening...

    Championship round-up

Middlesbrough’s automatic promotion challenge has stumbled a little of late, but they did end a six-match run without a win by beating Cardiff in midweek, and they’re 1-0 up at Fulham early on, with Albert Adomah heading in Stewart Downing’s cross.

A fast start at The Valley too, where Reading striker Yann Kermorgant headed an opener against his former club Charlton – and refused to celebrate. He was soon refusing to celebrate again, as Yaya Sanogo equalised for the Championship’s bottom side. It’s 1-1 there.

    Southampton 0-0 Chelsea

Has that early enforced change interrupted Chelsea's rhythm? Yes it has.

Southampton are doing the attacking, Diego Costa back helping out in defence to hack out Steven Davis' cross.

And then...chance! The Saints should be ahead. Virgil van Dijk's clipped cross from the right edge of the box finds the head of Shane Long, but his header loops over the Blues crossbar.

Another chance for Odion Ighalo. This time the striker gets on the end of a Juan Carlos Paredes cross, but directs his volley just wide.

    All Watford so far.

    Stoke 0-0 Aston Villa

Oooh I hope Mark Bunn did his pre-match stretches, because otherwise the save he has just had to make will have him aching tomorrow.

Ibrahim Afellay whips a cross in behind the defence and Jores Okore sticks out a wild boot. The ball balloons off it and looks set to loop into the net before Bunn stretches out an arm to push it over.

Bunn swings his arm around like a windmill afterwards. It almost came out of the socket getting to that.

Pedro's day is over before it has barely started. The Chelsea forward goes to ground as play stops and receives some treatment. The magic sponge can't help him. Oscar is the man summoned to replace him.

What's happening at St Mary's? Not much.

Oh, hang on. Chelsea forward Pedro clutches his hamstring then gives that rolling hand gesture to the away bench - that's the universal sign language for 'gaffer, I'm coming off'.

    Stoke 0-0 Aston Villa

An early nervous moment for Stoke boss Mark Hughes, Erik Pieters is down after a crunching challenge and is taking a while to get up. A reshuffle necessary already?

Luckily, Pieters is able to walk it off and is back up and running within a couple of minutes.

The Leicester fans are making more noise than Kasabian would do on stage at Finsbury Park. Cracking atmosphere at the King Power, as per, but the home side have yet to give them any goalmouth action to shout about.

    Watford 0-0 Bournemouth

Watford are straight out of the blocks!

The Bournemouth defence is a little sleepy but Odion Ighalo wakes them up with an explosive bit of pace. He knocks the ball past one defender and races on to it, getting towards the edge of the area before letting fly with a shot that Artur Boruc has to push over.

    Good start by the Hornets.

Uno, dos, tres, quatro. We have lift off.

All four of this afternoon's Premier League referees - stood in centre circles in Leicester, Stoke, Southampton and Watford - blow their whistles for the first time.

And that, unless we're very much mistaken, means that today's 15:00 GMT games are on.

A sharp-suited bloke is stood out in the middle of the King Power pitch, tooting away on a hunting horn to welcome the two sets of players out of the tunnel.

Are the Canaries going to be the Foxes's latest victim?

The south coast days might be starting to stretch out as we move towards spring. But it is still a little glum at St Mary's, meaning the groundsman has flicked on the floodlights.

The players have just been buzzed out of the changing rooms by the referee. Almost show-time...
