  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    Leicester 0-0 Norwich

Alex Neil never looks happy, but he will be the happiest manager at the break. But it could have been oh so better for Norwich.

The relegation scrappers are holding the Premier League leaders, although Cameron Jerome should have put them ahead with a header.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    Stoke 0-0 Aston Villa

Alan Hutton is booked as he loiters around for too long on the touchline before taking a throw.

Time wasting already? Say it isn't so.

Fanfare please. We have our first goal of the afternoon!

And no wonder Baba Rahman is hiding his head under his shirt. The Chelsea left-back inexplicably heads a high ball straight into the path of Shane Long, who swoops quicker than a hungry bird of prey.

The Saints striker bursts into the box, keeping his cool to clip over Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois.

Heading toward half time and Bournemouth are shading territory and possession. Watford have had more shots on goal, though.

  7. CLOSE!published at 15:39

    Leicester 0-0 Norwich

Norwich gaffer Alex Neil always has the expression of an angry man. I'm sure he's a pleasant chap really. But he is cursing away again - his side should be ahead.

Canaries striker Cameron Jerome climbs above the Leicester defence to meet a cross into the box, only to nod across the far post.

Should have scored. But he hasn't. And he hasn't scored since December - when he netted the winner at Old Trafford.

    Stoke 0-0 Aston Villa

There may have been no real chances in this game but Aston Villa are growing in confidence a bit.

The visitors are in the Stoke final third, looking for an opening which almost presents itself when Idrissa Gueye knocks the ball past a defender and chases onto it.

He's far too much like an enthusiastic Yorkshire Terrier chasing a tennis ball, though, and doesn't seem to see an onrushing Stoke defender, clattering into him. He gets a yellow card as a result.

    League One latest

Wigan have been on a terrific run over the last couple of months, climbing to second in League One on the back of an 11-match unbeaten run. They're making mincemeat of Bury at the DW Stadium this afternoon, leading 3-0 after just 21 minutes. Will Grigg has scored a penalty for his second goal of the day.

At the foot of the table, Jon Guthrie has put struggling Crewe - with just one league win since the end of November - 1-0 in front against Barnsley.

    Championship round-up

Middlesbrough will go level on points with morning leaders Hull if they beat Fulham today - and it very much looks on. Grant Leadbitter has put Aitor Karanka's side 2-0 up at Craven Cottage, converting a penalty after Chris Baird tripped Dave Nugent.

Ipswich, whose play-off hopes are disappearing fast after four defeats in their last five league matches, are in front at Huddersfield thanks to Ben Pringle's goal, while Nottingham Forest are also 1-0 ahead, against Bristol City.

A big goal at the New York Stadium, where Matt Derbyshire has put relegation-threatened Rotherham 1-0 up against Brentford. Neil Warnock is working his magic, it would seem. Tjaronn Chery's goal has given QPR the lead against Birmingham.

    Southampton 0-0 Chelsea

We've passed the 34-minute mark. So? So that means Saints keeper Fraser Forster has set a new club record.

By not conceding yet, the big man has not picked the ball out of his net in 667 minutes of top-flight football since coming back from a long-term injury.

And Chelsea have rarely looked like threatening today.

    Watford 0-0 Bournemouth

What's going on at Watford, I hear you ask. Nothing is the reply.

    Hurumph.

    What time's Bergerac on?

  13. Postpublished at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    Leicester 0-0 Norwich

Someone get a touch on it! Leicester winger Marc Albrighton curls in a dangerous free-kick from the left, straight down the Norwich 'corridor of uncertainty' between keeper and defence. But the visitors survive as no-one in blue can get a decisive touch.

    Southampton 0-0 Chelsea

I'm afraid to report that the Zorro references to Chelsea players are no more. Neither Cesar Azpilicueta and Diego Costa are wearing their protective masks - the latter ripping his off at St Mary's.

Then we have some proper footballing action to tell you about. Saints striker Charlie Austin sees a decent chance just squirm wide.

    Stoke 0-0 Aston Villa

Stoke upping the banter levels to maximum now. I think the fact they are tweeting this tells you all you need to know about the amount of chances in this game. Still waiting for our first shot on target...

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    Watford 0-0 Bournemouth

A rare glimpse at Max Gradel for Bournemouth fans as he comes on for Junior Stanislas. He'd pulled up with a hamstring injury.

I'd love to tell you that there has been a chance since the last update from Vicarage Road, but there hasn't been one.

    Riyad MahrezImage source, Getty Images

How will Leicester cope against teams that sit back and don't leave space behind? That's the question asked by many. We're going to find out today.

Norwich are very much 'doing a Leicester'. Sitting deep and looking to sweep forward quickly. But Cameron Jerome doesn't quite have the pace and movement of Jamie Vardy...

Ah! Here's how Leicester can break down a defence - some Riyad Mahrez magic. The Algerian drops his shoulder and slinks through the Canaries backline, but his curling shot from 15 yards smashes into a yellow and green shirt.

    League Two round-up

A full complement of 12 matches in League Two this afternoon. As we stand, the division's 24 teams have managed a paltry one goal between them. It's a significant one at the top of the table too, with Danny Hylton scoring to give Oxford, in third, the lead at fifth-placed AFC Wimbledon.

  19. Postpublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    Stoke 0-0 Aston Villa

Some cheeky banter from the Aston Villa fans, it seems.

Joleon Lescott is up in the area as Aston Villa win a free kick. Carles Gil takes it, aiming for Lescott, but Stoke head away.

  20. Postpublished at 15:23

    Southampton 0-0 Chelsea

Heart-in-mouth moment for Southampton - and particularly home right-back Cedric Soares. A deflected right-wing cross finds its way to the far post, where the Portuguese defender instinctively heads behind. Very close to going the wrong side of the post. About the length of one of those old wooden rulers you used to get in physics away.
